You know that you can’t stream High Definition Quality which will turn out really bad (cuz comcast can’t handle this may be fios?)
if I hold a tournament at my place I think i can do HD stream cuz my internet service is like 16Mb which is the highest I can get in this area
For the stream, players should understand that they have to play on the Standard Definition
so who wants live stream?
On another note, maybe we can use Tonamento and have the brackets and results for each tourney. Or at least start a thread only for the tourney results, just like this thread has become. Top 3, shown on this thread, are usually the same players anyway except wen EMP shows up lol.

One, I’ll just use the ethernet cable from my 360 to your laptop. That cable is super long so it’ll reach for sure. We have the bullshit 10 mb power boost also so with a direct line the internet should be quality enough.
Evo monitor getting recorded/streamed this time so people don’t worry about lag issues? It sucked not having our Skye handle the top Bison get recorded. And the grand finals of course. Mike better be there!

we would need a way to record HDMI (black magic pro), but I’m not sure if One has that. The other option would be to get some type of device that would convert component into VGA or HDMI and I really doubt anyone has one of those (they are quite pricey).
for using the Asus monitors and recording…a handheld camcorder is the best option.

HD Box Pro is a pretty good item from what I hear. Bunch of guys use it for their 31Hz arcade cabinets. I plan to pick up one for mine. I haven’t been able to find frame lag numbers though. Only $60-$80 too.
By the way, I have a XRGB-1, but with all converters, you are going to get a frame or two of lag. This doesn’t have the D-Terminal connectors, so I can’t take in Component :shake: It will take in composite or S-Video and convert it to VGA though.

Nah… I’ve already spent too much money on recording setups over $1500 (including a new laptop)
I have four different setups for recording: two for streaming(Small Laptop, Dazzle), two for HD recording(Happauge, Digital Camera)
but you know i’m lazy and i don’t wanna bring them all:D
