our sticks are coming … i can almost taste it!
I pre-ordered 2 of them from the EB at the Eaton Center. They told me before I did that 2 was the maximum per house hold. I called on Tuesday and they told me delivery is going to go to the ones at the top of the list for those who pre-ordered. I’m 10th and 11th so I hope I’ll get my 2 come release date.
1320 TEs…for all of Canada. Eeeek. :xeye: I really hope that’s enough. It kinda doesn’t seem like it will be.
Jay: You think you could ask what the distribution is between the PS3/360 versions of the TE?
I pre-ordered AFTER the initial craze, so I’m pretty sure I’m kinda waaaay down the queue. But I did order one for each system though, just in case. It seems the PS3 version is much more popular over here. Here’s to hoping, though. Best of luck to everyone.

That’s great news, but the limited 1320 sticks isn’t as great.
I have two sticks pre-ordered, but they were ordered on different dates. I guess I’ll find out soon enough how that will work out for me.

Called local EB Games today, still no shipment of TE sticks.
The sales associate kinda got pissy about me calling in and asking despite my pre-order, but the truth is I really don’t trust EB when it comes to calling people back for their pre-orders.
I called EB games: Square One location this afternoon, they said they’re most likely to receive it tomorrow or the day after.
And wow considering the demand for this product, I might have to get a few friends to come with me when I pick my 3 TE sticks lol, don’t wanna get jumped. (I’'m serious.)

Nagoo I noticed you’re from B.C. I called this Eb games in strawberry hill and I asked pretty nicely, and her response was a blank “no idea”.
I thought, wow what a bitch.
I then called EB games in new west… and the guy was actually helpful and gave an explanation… he said madpussies got some trouble with the stick on their end… he told me to call a week from now.
Square one will get one or 2. so unless your 1 and 2 on their pre-order list your screwed.
And dont believe anything you say, I been to them a few times about the fight pad and its always the same… try tomorrow then next week then after that not till the end of the month.
The worker’s at that EB are really uninformed and have no idea about anything from release dates to when they get things.
this is worse then when SF4 came out . I remember I didnt pre order or nothing, I walked into a random HMV on the 17th , a day before it even came out and got it nice and easy.

I live in the Niagara region (in Ontario) and have had a single TE stick on pre-order since about a week prior to the game being released. I’ve phoned at least once a week to about 3 EB’s since then because of the numerous conflicting reports I was receiving from each. As of today I’ve been told they are due this week, possibly later today and a second EB has told me of shipment problems in China (just like the OP stated). /sigh Ill try phoning again prior to closing.
There’s 8 stores in Quebec city and the max each is getting is 1 per system for this week. Good luck.

Because this is the first time any mad catz product has had an actual demand so they have no idea how to meet that demand
The other issue is most of the shipment goes to america, and canada is being overlooked as a lower market.
Yeah, it’s nothing new. This is Canada, we always get America’s left overs when it comes to supply.
The DM for this district told me that despite the low shipment this week, the rest of the pre-orders should come in next week or the week after. Then again, the DM is a tool.
This is why Im never going to buy a TE stick… i got my converter + hori stick! fuck madcatz!
i put a preorder in the day you were able to at eb, and i asked them who gets first priority, whoever preorders first or whoever pays off in full, and the guy was like whoever preorders first and it doesn’t matter if you pay it off early. and then i call in a few days ago and they tell me its whoever payed in full gets first priority. so i have to give them hell if i don’t get one on first shipment here.
