Well they’re different characters. Tekkaman fights with his SPACE LANCE, Teknoman fights with his TECHNOLANCE.

Tekkaman fights big robots, Teknoman fights a hoard of mutant spider-crabs! And uh…their weapons are different.

So, what is the difference between Tekkaman, and Tekkaman Blade ?

If you’re a player worried that “Blade” might just be a palette swap of the original Tekkaman, set your mind at ease, because he’s totally different.

In addition to all 100% brand-new art, his playstyle is also night and day different. The original Tekkaman is a bit of a brute, a bit slower, but hits HARD. Tekkaman Blade on the other hand, is full of dirty tricks, constantly ending up behind you somehow, and with one of the craziest dashes in fighting history (it’s a bit like Morrigan’s dash, only, um… moreso).
