all the wii only characters are coming to an arcade by time release, so some interview or something said a while back.
they better, in any case.

So wait, this is out in arcades? I was at the two main arcades in Fukui last night and I didn’t see it, but I wasn’t really looking for it. I wasn’t near SFIV or Blazblue, so I doubt it was there. Hm, I may do some research on this later tonight.
Daimaou, Ippatsuman, VJ, and Saki ARE Wii characters.
Looks like they ditched Roll and Jun… unless there are also other secret characters?
I think a smaller cast is a good idea for them on the first pass of this series. If this sells well and Capcom can maintain the partnership, then sequels will be on their way soon enough. They have to leave room to gradually increase the cast as they roll out future titles. If they jammed in all the best characters in the first game, fans would be disappointed with future releases with crappy minor characters making up the majority of the new cast.
I agree although I can’t shake the disappointment for some characters. Okay, I’ll admit that asking to have Phoenix Wright in a fighting game is a little…off. It could be very cool, even if it was like Norimaro 2.0 - sorta gagish.
But Frank West would have been just an awesome fit. I’m sure we can say that about a lot of properties, though.
It’s only out in certain arcades that have a direct relationship with the game developers (probably Taito arcades). The kit doesn’t officially release/ship until Dec. 11th (same as Wii date) so it won’t penetrate the country until that date or later.
The game will remain using kanji/hiragana though.
its not officially out yet in arcades. just like sf4, it got released at capcom arcades early. i think a few other arcades besides capcom got it also. i doubt too many people even know about it, there is nothing on the homepage about the early release and there arent even any posters around the arcade, just some cheap copy paper print out. so far its getting the mahvel treatment, not many people paying attention. game would have look much better in high def.
someone asked about button layout
So it’s standard 6 button with 2 plugs?
Looks a little like the Hori Otomedius controller

WOMG FRIENDER IS SO AWESOME HE CAN BITE IVAN’S LEG!
Also, it looks like Yatterman 1’s Yatterwan Flame can actually be combo’d into.
pretty much. a lot of games been using that standard for a while now whether 1,2…or 6 buttons.
Gawd, Yatterwan’s epic.
WAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
These big guys look pretty buff, the videos make it seem pretty even, but I’m sure in the hands of an expert they’re going to be a menace…
Also, notice how Chun-Li’s Shichisei super got toned down?
Hella late to the party once again but Yami as a boss in this game is all kinds of broken.
:lovin: :woot:
VERY much so. If you use this in a combo, you are going to want it to be as short as possible so you dont get scaled to hell. I’d never seen Casshan’s ability to charge up his thunder punch. The wall bounce he gets after looks useful, until you see Chun block his super before landing after the rebound. Odd.
I tend to focus on the most minor, trivial things like… I don’t like Morrigan’s voice compared to recent VS. Granted, they used the same fucking sprite for a decade, so I guess I should be happy for change.
Cool. I was looking into getting the Hori Wii Stick for this game. Has anyone gotten their hands on the Hori Wii stick? How does it compare to Hori’s other arcade sticks?
It’s on par with the other Hori fighting sticks. It feels ever so slightly light to me, but I think that could just be psychological. To me it seemed no better or worse than any other non RAP stick.
Although there is a minor plus for it being technically wireless (it’s wired to the wiimote which itself is wireless).
Few people have modded them out with good success as well, only real problem being that you’ll need to grind a small area out of the base of the controller (inside) so the stick can move freely.
Yo this shit is officially mad epic. I like how Casshern’s Level 3 raped Ivan’s health bar, and Friender grabbing his leg. Gan-Chan looks even better than he did before. Just 8 more days.
It still isn’t too late to mod my homeboy’s wii right?
