Mega crash is still very costly. If your opponent megacrashes your combo you pretty much can say “Yes!” to yourself, since you’ll just have done a huge amount of damage to them on top of your combo while forcing them to waste 2 meters.
But yeah, they do get a substantial amount of red life, and depending on what they choose to do with it, it can be good or bad for them.
ah dude, Arthur from Ghost and Goblins should’ve been in the game. Same with Hyo from RS. They should have had 2 characters from each series in this game.
When I was talking to the producer, he said there won’t be any cats (honest answer). So my interest went from 4-1. Then at the capcom panel, along with the endless MvC3 questions, he said pizza cats are his oddest request. Insult to injury
He’s actually the character I feel most strongly about making it into this game. More so than even any Capcom character (which is something I’d never expect of myself).
He would be cool in the game. But I’m not sure how some of his supers would work in this kind of game. His scythes be HUGE (super version) and create wall bounce on counter hit, while the regular version has juggle/stagger properties? What about his close HCB+HK throw? Chopping his head off be just a special move? His air hcb+K (into either K or P) being a special move as well? I can see his 222+3P being his level 3 super. It would be very interesting. But I don’t know how that would work. His air combos would be funny. Ground pressure would be awesome though. Instant air dash cancel into the horizontal air dash Medium->Heavy (3 hits) would ground the enemy.
He said you may see more other characters from non-fighting games. But I wasn’t too sure what he exactly meant. If I had to guess, other characters from RE, Bionic Commando, so on? He’ll probably be back in the US for CES and the full version of TvC:Upgraded.
Oh yeah, it dosen’t seem like we’ll get more variety from assists. So you may be stuck with 1 assist type per character still.
