Tatsunoko vs. Capcom for the US

So will the Hori Wii Fighting Stick be compatible with this? Gotta rush out and buy 2 before another Ebay fiasco happens again. Unless Madcatz makes a TvC Tournament Editions, LOL.

Wii hori stick is compatible, and I scooped a “like new” used one for just under $50 shipped almost immediately after hearing the news. There’s only one store I saw selling new ones for $50 (shipping not included). Everywhere else the price is insane. If you’re looking to buy a Hori Wii stick, do it now before the prices get ludicrous.

I already got screwed buying the game for $70 when it dropped in price 3 days later and now this news just 2 weeks later… I’m not inclined to double dip! 2 new characters, online, and maybe some gameplay tweaks and you’ve got a deal, Capcom!

Unless they don’t release this game on the xbox 360,ps3, and wii this game will last only 3 weeks on the states like Master Chibi said. Plus add more characters and take the ones they have licensing problems with, so this game can happen here in the states.

Then the game wouldn’t be TvC.

I used to have the Wii hori stick. They’re pretty much the exact same as the Hori Ex 2 for 360, so if you liked that stick then you’re set. I traded mine in on my tournament edition stick, so I’ll have to snag an adaptor or something.

I think in the long run having to figure out a stick/adaptor for the Wii may keep this game from being huge. Here’s hoping for a PS3/360 port and Capcom giving it some SFIV-esque hype.

True, but that’s the only way without any problems unless, even though is going to affect the small community in the arcades.

Or, they just worked out the licensing issues. If Atlus/Nippon can do it, surely Capcom can.

Which uh, clearly they did. Well, so it seems.

unless they could worked out the licensing issues, your right dude.

Shut up.

It’d be interesting if they’ll add some extra content for the US localization of the game.

Still, good news for those who haven’t imported the game. Wouldn’t mind buying it again later down in the line.

if they add extra content in the US edition then the japanese fans will be upset and they will release a “Final Mix” or “Plus”, as much as we want online mode and extra content i believe this will just be a port…

Question: how many companies own the different licenses…and would they notice immediately if Capcom brought it out here, or would it be some shit like

3 years after release

Random, damn near out-of-business company: Wow, this game’s fun! Hey…wait…wait, wtf?! WE own that license on that guy in the lower right-hand box! At least, we did 20 years ago! Dammit, Capcom!!

COA: :razzy:

Wow. A bunch of places around me have them for $39.99.

edit

they’ll probably use mvc2 to effectively market this… kinda like hdremix for sf4… and YES… this needs to come out on ACTUAL next gen systems with online

Priestfact, I looked through those scans. Assuming they’re legit, Capcom neither confirmed nor denied…
-New characters
-Online play

someone + rep this guy plz.

isn’t that from nintendo power?

I support this statement.

Which is why I just sent him into the green.

To be fair, it’s not unheard of for English versions of games to get online play added. A golf game on the Wii got an online mode added to the English localisation after people complained about the lack of it. More recently, Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 got an online mode added exclusively to the English version releases, with no sign of Japan getting it. So hope is not lost!

Looks legit after reading through the full article. I’m off to buy 2 Wii Fight Sticks…
