Rapid cancel is not a bad way to splurge meter. For example,
5b -> 3c (2 hits) -> 5d -> RC -> 3c -> 5d~6 -> j.c -> 5d~6 -> j.c -> 5d~6 -> j.a -> j.c -> j.c -> j.c (3.3k)
The damage output from using a RC combo is equivalent to using a super.
I guess I just wasn’t sure if RC’ing anything was worth it with Tao. I know some characters benefit greatly from RCs (i.e. Ragna), but Tao seems better off just DD’ing someone in the face instead.

After a air grab u can RC in the air to grab ur oppenent one more time nyaa:lovin:
I wouldn’t waste meter like that. She has so much variety with her drive cancels that RC-ing doesn’t really help her out in any significant way when looking at damage potential.
Save meter for her distortions and counter assault because they are the only chance she has at escaping pressure if you get locked down.
