Fine by me. I never got deep into MvC2 play, and I played characters I like, not the “CHARACTERS YOU HAVE TO PLAY IF YOU PLAY SERIOUSLY.”
I mean if people truly enjoy those characters based on their playstyle, story, appearance, whatever, I’m fine with that. But people just playing them out of necessity just bothers me.
Plus I can’t say shit about playing old characters anyway, I used to main Ken, and I plan to main Scorpion in MK9. It’s just that in the context of MvC, and what the meta game of it became, I just can’t believe people are all hype over the characters that took variety away from MvC2 competitive play.
Bah, who cares. The only thing that’s important now is…

@Xero, that’s exactly how I feel about Chun in ST. It takes a bit more effort to win with her, unlike Balrog who is right below Akuma in the tier ranks. If I ever were to play seriously then I might go with Vega, who is upper tier. But I will always stick with chun.
For some reason, i’m really excited to see how she works in this game, even though I never even used her in VS

Marvel may be on PS3 @ Evo; but at our tournaments and Orlando tournaments, it will almost certainly be on 360.
Multiplatform.
Rather than buy a whole new stick for another platform though, consider getting a dual mod done. Cheaper and saves space.
