GameStop at Baywalk in downtown St. Pete is doing a big tournament starting at 9pm until midnight, in the theater on an actual movie screen. Only problem is you can’t use your own controller the way it’s set up, since the PS3’s they’re using will be up in the projectors booth. Cool concept, but they obviously don’t really know what they’re doing when it comes to fighting games. I told the guy in charge of the tournament about Alma, though. Personally, I’m going to be at Parkside. Not sure if they’re doing a tournament or not, but they did for SSFIV.

Man. 2 days ago I couldn’t give a fuck when MvC3 came out. Then I started watching vids and commentary and a tutorial, and now I’m a little amped to see how this goes down. I know I’ll be uber free when it first comes out, being that I never played a Vs game competitively. Matter of fact, I haven’t played a real vs game since the OG SFvX. But, now, I’m a little amped.
Although SF will be my main game, still…
