I want an opinion on something.
In retail stores, a slim PS3 can cost $300 at least. A guy claims he can get one for $250 at a pawn shop. Sony can fix a PS3 for $150, but that can be rip off since other places can fix it for a cheaper price.
I thought I should sell my non-slim, broken but fixable, 250gb PS3, with a free copy of Super stuck inside, for $100.
If I fix it myself, I might charge $200 for it, maybe $150 if I’m negotiable. So far someone wants it for $60.
What do you guys think? The funny thing is that even a broken PS3 is worth something.

I say the best route for the money u can let sony fix it for you and when they fix it they usually put it under warranty again for another year. thats how micrsoft works when my buddies xbox had a broken disk drive. the guy who wants it for 60 bucks is low balling u. I would sell it for 100 at the least. A working ps3 street price go for about 250 just the console but of course u can bump up the price if u include anything.
It doesn’t turn on, the light flashes red meaning it over heated. Sony would just replace the bad parts with used parts, like the motherboard or chip, so I heard. Is one year warranty really a lot?

hey pierre im not sure about your local best buy but if you are going to buy a ps3 soon the one down here in stpete is offering a 50 dollar gift card with the purchase of a 160gb slim. However u cant use the gift card on the same purchase so u are stuck paying 300 dollars but of course that 50 dollars can go towards something else on a separates purchase

I got a question. Can the new 360s be modded? I have a ps3, which I can use for the net, so if I get a 360, then I don’t think I’d mind not playing online with it. Especially since it costs to play on 360’s network anyway. So, can the new slim black 360s be modded?
