tube tvs don’t lag, your tv does. your use to the lag. therefore, were you putting all your commands in early. i thought it looked like you were just use to playing underwater online, turns out it’s your laggy tv.

I don’t even bother with online cuz of the lag. And sorry, but the tube tvs were lagging cuz I would press fierce and a second later it would come out. Also I agree with Charlie > guile

It’s very very unlikely that any tube tv would lag, although some do exist. But unless they bought different crts and brought them in instead of the ones they had when I went about 3 weeks ago, then those were flawless. The problem wasn’t the tv, and it’s never the xbox. The problem is you!

Ohsup- can’t wait to see what you can get accomplished with The King. You’re very vg perceptive, and once you get matches under your belt, and learn to dp everything, I think you can be mondo dangerous with him. For now, practice your jab and short links. I hate them with Sagat. You get those down to where you’re hitting them consistently, you’ll be murderous. Mago still uses him from time to time, so catch some vids on youtube when you can. I know he played Ricky Ortiz at ReveLAtions with him.

Unless you bought lagless monitor and that’s what you play on, I can almost be sure that your hd tv has lag. I have a brand new vizio 42" HDTV and it runs at 24 frames of lag. I find that if I have my xbox hooked to it for street fighter, then i play on a tube tv, I cannot link a crouching jab after a jumping crossup, I push the button half a second too soon and get nothing or a blocked jab due to negative edge. I played on HDTV for months not knowing how bad the lag was until I played on lagless setups. I suggest buying a monitor or plugging your xbox into a CRT to practice on, otherwise you will do poorly at tournaments.

Well, I’m sorry if I came across as a Dick. It’s just frustrating that capcom would make a game that lags on one tv but not another. Just one more thing. Is there a way to set up a 1080p hd tv to run lagless? If not, guess I’m going to have to buy a crt tv at a yard sale or pawn shop.
