I had to fight RTD in winners for SC4… Since apprentice has force break for throws, and I play a character that has no combos (thx yun seong), pretty much all I could do is poke. THAT OBVIOUSLY WENT WELL.

CEO was an awesome event. Thanks to Bob for holding down casuals and to everyone I played against. I learned a lot from playing you guys (especially Brandon) and I definitely need to spend more time in training mode =)

Yesterday I was someone else I don’t know what consumed me or what happened, but the events at CEO and the hype of the whole thing made my mind sharper, even when I was at work everyone noticed I was more energetic. I don’t what to make of it but I knew after I lost in singles, I had to prove to myself anybody can be beat and I just used my positive mindset and some noise cancelling headphones I went on autopilot and reactions and It was like I was playing completely different from my practice.

Gg last night. Didn’t do so well but was nice to get some games in
GGs at World of Beer. I came in 4th behind Charlie, John, and Brian. I sent Allen in to losers’ bracket in a chun li mirror match, though he played the Bison match up a lot better than me against John that I actually learned something. People have asked me how I got so well with chun and I think now is the time to say. Basically, I was ignorant to the fact that she has the best normals in the game, similar to 3s, and that focus attacking is her main weakness other than anti air. So then I learned that it’s only a matter of throwing out the right poke at the right time and spacing. However, I learned my plink super combo skill from watching Uryo videos, I studied every input he made and why he did it. I am very detail oriented when it comes to learning. That’s pretty much it. Next stop is Titans 3.
