Soooo Matt - are you into this Yatagarasu game? Its like this: I love 3rd strike but…I’m tired of SF characters in general. Yata seems to have what I need a mix of style and substance. Has anyone been able to get this game? And if so I swear my pc acts retarded on it I keep getting graphical errors and whatnot. I like the character art …well accept that retarded looking boxing guy. Lemme know what you think.

Eh, the whole losing your character aspect makes it a gamble, you lose the life and your cancels. If Capcom is smart they’ll make ot scale by the lose life such that using it as an x factor is a bad idea.

Anyone going to put Vergil in their 2nd or 3rd team when Ultimate comes out?!!? His supers look super cool and he fits my style. Just too good to pass up IMO. And that sword shield level 1 super looks awesome.
Meeeh…Iron Fist looks retarded but might be fun, Vergil looks like more teleport gimmicks and what people wish Ouroboros was.

Less hype about Ultimate for some reason, probably thinking of all the beatdowns I would be receiving. As long as Mike C/Mike G/Logan still bring out 2 once in a while I will be happy. Logan I’ll have to get together with you to hit up Andy Z’s reset, Ruby/Doom/Tron is mad fun. I can’t really head over on Tuesdays anymore cause of school and studying (and prior engagements), maybe I can come over some other time? I can bring my setup for SC2 too!
SO glad to hear about this Pandora business having a fail-safe. I guess the right time to do it is when you catch someone with low life in a combo, Pandora cancel (wow Capcom you should take this shit into account before naming it) and finish the job. EDIT: In fact, Seth Killian calls it a “high stakes gamble” over a “simple comeback mechanic” when it comes to winning with Pandora.
HD Remake of Final Fantasy X in the works for PS3 and Vita. Can we get that good international edition please? I am definitely picking up a Vita (if only right now for Persona 4 the Golden), probably won’t get any fighting games for it though haha.
Vergil just looks okay. He’s more like the 3S Ryu where Dante is 3S Ken. Iron Fist looks like Jam except less fun. Oh, and shoutouts to fucking Neko Arc and Neko Arc Chaos in SFxT on the Vita.

So I put BB in for the first time in a long time at Adonis’ suggestion of using Hakumen and omg, he so fits my style. Any scrub BB players feel like scrubbing it out with me so I can iron out some basics?

Vergil looks like he has some silly shit, he’s already got a dive kick, ouroboros-esque special, teleport mixups, air dash and Devil trigger. At least it looks like he won’t have that acid rain bull shit, Im really wondering how silly Vergil’s pokes are and how easily he’ll be able to convert random hits into combos vs dante.

James blew up my strat with c.lk (looks like you were right: s.RH - l.Duck isn’t as hot as I thought) so I’ve got to put him back in the lab and hash that out (c.mp - l.Duck for general advancing methinks? S.RH to duck for tech/throw traps). When I get it finished and test it more thoroughly, ill bring him out again.
It works better than I think, but not as well as you thought, if that makes any sense, its defenitely hot in some degree if you use it sparingly and mix it in with some l.MGBs or you may want to burn that meter for ex duck.
