Eh, just tired of hearing how “broke” my chatacters are, and basically being accused of only playing characters because they are “broke”. I don’t feel anybody should have to justify why they’re playing their characters, or that the only people doing it right are only playing characters they have a hardon for (not a jab at James). I shouldn’t feel the need to go “durr hurr I like DMC and Okami and Magneto is awesome” in order to feel good about my team.

Also Adam isn’t “stuck” with Deadpool, he’s chosen to play that character even when he feels that character isn’t optimal, and power to him for that.

You told me i was worrying too much about playing 3rd strike characters, and I told you those are the characters I enjoy playing, I wasn’t jabbing anyone else, i wasn’t jabbing you, you’re taking it way to personally and being a little paranoid about it.

Uh Mike what the hell do you expect? S-class characters get S-class hate. Even when you were playing SF4, I could body your Akuma and I STILL hated him as a character because of what he has at his disposal (much like Rog with c.lp, although I did try to circumvent that by being somewhat miserly with its use). Its just what it is. There’s gonna be haterism, for both your characters and your proposed skill at the game in general because of said characters. Either keep it moving or break the hate by not being so much of a character specialist. Until I see it, fuck your team

TIL Dante was almost in Soulcalibur 3. Maaaan SC3 would have been the tightest shit if he was in it! I’d like to see him in 5 strictly swordmaster style. He could have Stinger, Prop Shredder, all those types of moves and his GI could be Royal Guard parry!

Also side note: if you don’t have anything to do Wednesday night (August 10), it would be kickass if anyone who’s available can come out to Bullwinkles - my band is playing rock covers all night (90’s-modern stuff like STP, Rage Against the Machine, Incubus, RHCP, Finger Eleven, etc). We’re trying to win the Battle of the Bands, and it’s all based on headcount each night. Also, I don’t suck nearly as much at playing guitar as I do at AE and MvC.
Steve all of that will be going on at my house this weekend from 3-9.
So for those of you not on FB and/or do not talk to me regularly, I’m having a party/gathering/going away fest this saturday from 3p-3a. There will be games from 3-9p, then drinks and such from 10p-3a, and it’s byob. From 9-10p everyone has to get out, and the setups will need to go as well. After 10p there won’t be any video games played, just music, cards, and drunken debauchery. There WILL be, no questions asked, FUC, GGAC, T6, MvC3, and BBCS2. Maybe some AE if I feel like getting some viper out of my system.
