I think 3rd Strike has a badly designed fighting game engine. I like everything else about it.
If Capcom liked T.Hawk then theyād just give him dumb shit he doesnāt need (see: Yun). During the NCR Daigoās Yun vs F.Champās Sim Seth Killian seemed so. . . forcefully reserved in his word choices talking about Yun.
Some of his buffs are pretty cool though, I have a friend in Jax whoās pretty excited. I think Dee Jay got some excellent stuff. . . but Iām not sure how much I really want to play cause I kinda love this 3sOE (I agree with you Matt the netcode is great! I think the games we had were pretty good and my connection is not perfected right now).

Not a prob. I liked 1 more than 2, but thatās probably because I played Koudelka. 2 has too many BS characters too. Havenāt done 3 yet.

Yep, now I need different numbers and different hitboxes in my head. My zone felt like compete trash.
The only zoning in 3S is knowing how far your c.mk extends. Otherwise, it boils down mostly to a shallow āhit-confirm-to-superā game.

Wait, now that I think about it, is the principle of zoning with normals a viable tactic in 3S?
I guess if I including parrying in my defense, then maybe it would.
If you get read you gonna get parried into something hot, though!
Mike G: Try playing someone who canāt hit confirm a cr.mk into super and this game has a whole new strategy. Q can confirm cl.st.mk into dash straight into super and thatās basically it. St.MK/cr.MK just become literal poke tools ā all you can do with them is hope they hit, donāt get parried and set up an opportunity to parry a counter-poke.
Q has some good-ass normals though. His cr.strong is Codyās! And totally has this weird space where itās totally the right anti-air/anti-jump-back/etc.
