Question, are there reliable ps2 to ps3 converters? need to know for metal leg’s stick
Either the Pelican or inpin are you’re best bet. IIRC the pad players in town use inpins because they are plentiful online while the Pelican’s are hard to find and expensive.

I have a PS2 to USB converter I picked up AGES ago, I’ll check how well it works on the PS3 later.
EDIT: @Jarv: Down for some MvC2 later? Fuck MvC3. 
If I can find mine, you could have it. I used it because I didn’t have a PS3 controller, but now I do, so I don’t really need it anymore. I don’t know how perfect it is, but I played on it for a few years without ever being bothered by it.

If it’s not an Inpin or Pelican converter it’s almost guaranteed that it will lag/drop inputs if you are not using an official PS controller PCB - and it’s quite probable that it’ll lag even if you do use an official one.
Man i had to drop those converters a year ago. Theyll last you a good year then theyll start to fall apart. They may look nice on the outside but if you open one up, cheap wiring, horrible soldering and cheap parts. Imo i would do yourself a favor and just cop a MC Cthulhu for a dual mod and never have to worry about it again.
