So… after playing Gouken for an hour last night with at Andy’s… I’ve got to say that he’s one of THE worst fucking characters in this iteration.
If you ever had the inkling to pick him up for ANY reason, don’t even bother. (although I will be playing him for a weekish to see if I’m missing out on some new hotness aka demon flip reset setups that are cost effective)
GGs to everybody last night - it was especially good seeing James come out. My b about my “hypeness” that late at night, Andy. We had a little money on the line.

Yeah, to clear up any confusion, Andy and I are playing a first to 25 (15 is ok with me if it’s okay with Andy). Whoever wins gets their copy of MvC3 bought for them by the loser.
yeah i want to come but its usually too late on a weekday hard to stay up til like 1 or 2 then wake up at five… its damn hard.
But since somebody feelings will be hurt this coming tuesday if i can get a ride i will definitely show my face.

GGs tonight fellas. Sorry about the crappy play. Was really effin tired and was getting tagged with CHs and throws all day. I should take the time to learn this crouch/tech option select that I’ve completely omitted cus Balrog’s short sucks 
Getting mad at the Fuerte match, but that’s only because now I’m really starting to understand his move set and formulate a game plan. Sorry Chris Still working on it.

I’m surprised you don’t use the crouch tech OS Chris. I used to use it nonstop but that was getting me counterhit a lot.
I use it sparingly now, but I def think it’s worth using when you notice the opponents tick throw patterns. Plus if you get a c.short out of it you can hit confirm it into jab xx special, maybe c.mp? But I haven’t tried the latter.
P.s- Chris we should do some 1v1s and take Rog into the lab as I think we could both learn from each other’s take on Rog; especially for me to get better and smarter while playing.
