Ok, was just at the tally mall and walked by the food court. Gamescape is moving to where old navy use to be. We have an ass load of room now for the tourney. They are advertising for people to play in the tourney too so more $$ in the pot.
So the jan 15th tounrey will be @ Gamescape in the Tally mall.

its far from anti everything. It was initially intended to be an anti air and anti projectile move and it was. The problem with the move was that it did way too much damage. Considering you always got full damage on the ultra. There are plenty of ultra’s that anti air when they were not intended to. Difference was they usually didnt hit for the full amount or do as much damage.
That match up is now back to being really rough for rufus. Guess he has to join the club of more than half the cast having a dick of a time against gief.
Side note balrog is the damn same he can still headbutt into ultra just fine lol. All those listed changes and it doesnt effect shit. Way to appease the public by saying they did something but in reality they didnt do shit capcom for president.

What’d people expect? You have God knows how many frames to link the Ultra off the headbutt, so whatever change they did put in probably didn’t do anything to affect the timing so drastically that it would take a real sense of timing to land it.
Frankly, they went in the wrong direction with Rog’s changes. What needed to happen was complete overhaul on his hittable box for the sake of, drop the efficacy of c.FP, and maybe drop his walk back speed (that or speed some of these slow motherfuckers up).

There’s a big difference between getting full hits on a ultra that combos off of a damn sneeze and getting full hits for a clean ultra to punish some mistake. I’d have been okay with them dropping the damage, but damn, don’t let them randomly drop out so they get a free punish for YOU PUNISHING SOMETHING THEY DID. That’s like Hakan’s ultra dropping you before the last hit and you get to mushroom slap him in the face for free after.

All he ever needed out of U2 was some fireball counter and as long as that is legit still then I will not be sad.
But you won’t be seeing this ultra in play from what I would imagine. No one is gonna throw fireballs at Rufus with ultra(besides scrubs) and Rufus aint gonna risk it to antiair…so. Its a mental deterrent.
