I absolutely loved the starcraft reference. From a casual to moderately serious player those tactics may seem cheap and broken, but to veteran players these strategies will usually net a free win. As with most 1 base strategies or all-ins. If that shit fails, and as long as i dont make any major mistakes. You might as well type gg and pack shit up. On the ladder all that 6-8pool, 4 gate, 2 rax all in shit gets beat clean 95% of the time. the other 5% is a PROPER 4 gate that hits at 5:30 which can be difficult if your playing a top notch player, but even then i just run 3 rax one tech lab pump rines and rauders and setup shop maybe adding one bunker and you can write that shit off.
X-factor is silly no doubt, but i dont think its nearly as silly as most people make it out to be.
I notice that trip coordination isn’t really anyone’s strongest suit here. It happens to be one of mine, so, yeah I should probably get on that. I’ll coordinate the trip for everyone, but I would like some of my expenses covered in return. If you’re all okay with this, then everything will be booked by the end of the week, tops.

All that pretty shit on the pcb mod looks to be done after the stick was already wired. The Sticky appearance leads me to the same conclusion that they used some kind of adhesive to bond the wires. Although you make this process even easier (at least for me) with solid core wire.
As for Final Round. Weve never waited longer than 2 weeks prior to make plans. So im just kind of worried about people just not being able to go period. I dont mind giving folks the money problem is atm im not 100% sure i can drive their atm.

If anyone else downloads it and you have a direct X11 capable video card like mine than you’ll need to turn it off for the demo. They’ve fixed it in the full release but not in time for the demo. As leaving it on will cause some serious framerate issues
I booked 1 room for 3 nights, Thursday - Sunday. Total cost, $304. I’d prefer only 4 people, but if necessary could squeeze in more. I’m going to assume James and Logan are both going and staying with me. If he’s going, Adonis also gets priority if he wants because Blazblue is on Friday. Also, Logan, confirm if Charles is coming or not…he’d be guaranteed also.

Yea man when i switched to solid core for mods i couldnt go back. much cleaner and easier to use in mods. Especially in PCBs with smaller contact points.

Well that about sums it up. If no one is getting down on another room, and i cant stay with some of my OOS homies thats a wrap as far as being able to go. If i can drive up there it might be a completely different story.

I completely understand man. I wouldve done the same. It was extremely weird that not many people were talking about FR this year. I know most of the time people kinda bs about other tournaments but FR has always been that ONE tournament that everyone tries to goto.

When your shouldering for the hotel make sure you get it for thursday thru sunday. because well probably be getting there late Thursday / early friday morning. If you dont get it for thursday than well have to wait till like 12-2pm friday to be able to get in a room.
lol Crysis 2. Doesnt have anywhere near the requirements that the first game did. Remember this game was actually made for consoles too. So it does have settings that will let you play with pretty low requirements.

Dude that directx11 not working in the demo was driving me nuts, but i had everything running at 60fps max 32x AA on the direct x 9 settings.
I don’t project being able to get there on Thursday, so I don’t foresee that being possible. I have other obligations. Friday - Sunday may be the best I can do.
That said, if anyone else wants to book it for those 3 days and Ill pay my share for the 2 nights that I’m there, I’m more than fine with that.

The current plan in works right now is Drew, Mike G, Matt and myself. I personally would prefer to leave Friday morning and save on a day of hotel and food expenses, but that’s completely up to the group and can front whatever which way. Drew’s/Matt’s cars get okay gas mileage so either way, gas shouldn’t be over the top. I’ll calculate that later.
Gonna either be home in Saint A or chillin in Busch Gardens so passing on FR. Not to mention it would be a waste since I suck pretty badly. I’ll try to go to CEO 2011 cause that sounds like a lot of fun.
