wow watching a bunch of euro creeps run around naked as female characters in diablo was a bit weird seeing over 10 simultaneous stream of d3 running with the same theme has me a little turned off as to what kind of community the game is going to attract.

I would room but I don’t think I can go - I have to make a trip in a couple of weeks to Tampa that’s going to require me to take time off, so I won’t be able to take Friday/Monday off again. Not being able to go Friday disheartens me from going.
Good lookin’ out. I have no problem paying for the program, dude has done good work. But I don’t know if there’s any new features that really help us - I don’t think I’m gonna convince anybody to run ads on here. Maybe if somebody put together a cool local Tally scene video that I could run, I’d do it.

Nice! I’ve been looking for a fun shooter to play. Thanks for the heads up. I think my weakest point on this system is going to be the video card. Taking May 15th and 16th off to crack out on D3. Anyone else?
Too many games that I own that I need to play/beat. MGS HD (that’s three games right there), Persona 4, P3 FES, want to practice more Dota 2 (if Mike will get off D3’s nuts to play it), Skullgirls and Starcraft 2 too. When I played D2 LoD I knew way too much about that game for my own good. I still randomly remember equipment set attributes and shit like that today :S I might pick it up someday but to keep myself sane all signs pointing to no right now.
To those that played the beta, what class did you like most? When I played a version of the beta at Ron’s I played a Witch Doctor, kinda neat remake of a Necro but I’m not sure I liked it the most.
I’m always partial to Wizards, but I like fire wizards and I didn’t get any fire spells. 
I liked every class except Witch Doctor (though I’m sure they’re still fun later). I’m going to play a Monk because I think they’ll be a little less popular than everyone else (except WD) hopefully meaning their gear pool will be a little bit more saturated thus easier for me to get good stuffs.

That’s funny, I enjoyed Witch Doctor the best and Demon Hunter the least.
Haven’t played Tribes since the first one. I was a UT kid.
Monk is actually prettttty popular it seems.
I get a little nostalgia rush whenever I got the mini Buriza/Guided Arrow rune for hunger arrow.
Monk was my 2nd favorite. Barbarian is probably 3rd.
My friend had the tightest firewall sorc in LoD.
Said friend also convinced me (also Ron a bit). Manning up and playing some D3. Dunno what class yet.
The second I played a Monk I knew it was the class for me. The first rune that lets you tele-punch was pretty sweet, not to mention the crazy range on the standard attacks. I definitely need a new rig to play on, though; playing on 800x600 on a widescreen laptop? No me gusta.
Is the beta still playable? I’d like to figure out what I can run the game on for my laptop, especially plugged into my monitor. At the very least is there any benchmarking or something?
