I’ll probably have the game but I’m not playing with anyone. Buying it, going “oh cool I have it” and then going back to homework

All of Captivate seems pretty disappointing. Trailer for a sequel no one wants + more trailers for games that come out this year. Embargo = hype = attention.

Speaking of Skullgirls, I’m debating having a Skullgirls stream night at my place tonight - would anybody be interested in attending, if I do? Will be played on PS3. Would also need a component monitor/tv, as mine is at Geoff’s.

I got a Reserve list at gamestop for 360 and theres some decent games being released this year. Two others that i can recall are Persona 4 (august or september) and Zone of Enders HD Collection(Super stoked about this one)

Some randoms up here at the SLC were playing skullgirls(z?) got some hands on time with it. Seems like it could be a fun game. Not gonna lie felt mad over hyped. Or maybe i just hyped myself up a bit too much for it. Either way ill play it and Snatch up Persona(which im really interested in playing) when it drops as well.
Skullgirls is cool… I guess. Not sure if I regret buying it yet or not lol. I think I need to play some people and learn some optimized combos before I figure out if I really like it though. First impressions are that it’s cool… I guess. Haha.
This game is fun as fuck. If you guys wanna watch some interesting play, I MM’d Drew tonight, it’s at the very beginning of the second part of tonight’s stream.
After watching the stream, here’s a tip: if it looks like the other person is in range to hit an attack, then you can probably hit them with something (i.e. if they get knocked down or bounced and you have an attack with a hitbox that can reach them). Do it!
Since half you dudes seem to want to play Valentine (not surprising considering the 0 characters) here are a few things I found out after like 30 minutes of training mode.
- You can super cancel the jump back recovery of her command grab, midscreen you get the flatline super in the corner you can do the needle super and otg after
- You also get a needle super after lvl 3 (Is that a grab? I assume it’s not because it’s not done with grab buttons)
- double jump canceling off her launch is probably going to be good 'cause it keeps her lower to the ground and you can still airdash, should make for easier (and more damaging possibly) relaunches midscreen.
Didn’t really try to come up with any cool combos 'cause I’m tired, but I’ve got some pain with Cerebella from messing with the demo earlier today. Sleep now.
