Andy: its no problem, man. I havent built a stick in awhile, so it’s fun again. ANYWAYS… problem # 2! Apparently the Paewang is not designed to have a JLF installed into it. The directional inputs on the board each have a separate ground, just like for American sticks. Looking at it, it looks like I could daisy chain the grounds to the central ground on a JLF… but fuck all of that, cus it might not work. I’ve got a spare MC Cthulhu here, so I’ll install that instead as soon as the new soldering iron comes in. I’ll just use the Paewang to revive the MAS, as to have a keepsake in your honor 
if the mvc2 community stayed intact, I probably wouldn’t have gave it up for 3.

GL dudes. That is so close to my hometown… Id ask to go if chris couldnt go as well, but i just got a call from hhgregg this afternoon about an interview sometime this weekend for a SM/ASM I.T. position, needless to say i need to worry about that more, and if i can land it i will be very very happy to say the least. Heaven is Hard? I wish people would go back and play star Ocean 3 on 4D mode

If you and your team didnt completely break the game you basically a very slim chance to get through most boss battles
The thing about SO3 is that many bosses, such as Freya, weren’t so much hard as required a very specific level of preparation to beat them. Try beating Freya without using stun bombs, now THAT’S hard/requires luck or is impossible.
Also, SO3’s main story was not nearly as difficult as the Heaven dungeon in P4, I think. Certainly you can grind up in either game to the point that they are completely trivialized, but assuming Jarv didn’t do that Heaven is legitimately difficult. SO3 is also a lot easier to break than P4. Consider this: Maria was not even considered one of the better characters, yet you posted a video of her soloing Freya.
well when i went up against freya i didnt use a strat guide so yea it felt nigh impossible and very very hard esp hittting any no damage trophies…, but after looking at youtube vids etc theres ways to make her alot easier.
That being said i love both games and i hope they come out with more of them in the future. SO4 had some really terrible almost laughable voice acting so i pray they change that for the next one if they make another SO.
The International Version on PS3 allows you to use the Japanese voices, which was like playing a different game. Still not as good as SO3 (which wasn’t as good as SO2) but a lot more tolerable.
i think the 360 has the international version out now… shit i may have to get it! I didnt finish it when i bought it when it came out but now its super cheap, theres down time till the next game and i might just have to get on it!
I just want to say that Freya at 4D, unless I see otherwise, is absolutely impossible without some sort of stun mechanisms. Ether Strike shuts the match down.
You can interrupt it if you are in the right position(actually maybe not on 4D, don’t remember) and if you have enough Guts procs you can survive it. But yes, the only reasonable way to beat it is to use stun bombs at the very least every Ether Strike.
Heaven is pretty damn tough. Was trying Nao/Ted/Kanj but I think I will swap out Naoto for Brosuke or someone.
STORM FUSION: Since Drew’s car died I am driving to Storm. I need a confirmed list of people going, I have a Sonata so I can generally fit myself and three others. I could squeeze five if it was someone small like MikeG in the back middle. So far I only have Drew confirmed. Possibles I’ve heard from/about are MikeG, MikeJ and Chris A. Drew and I want to get the hotel soon so we need some confirmation from these people.
If two/three more people come I can drive.
