What happened to er’ryone in P4? All I saw was Drew get mashed on by Mitsuru. Seemed to adjust well in the second game before getting hit by the P4 special blocked DP super cancel. Lovely game.
Thanks for watching Ron, Im still kinda of mad for losing to that Mitsuru, i definitely feel like I shouldn’t have lost that one. Also shoutouts to those commentators who kept thinking i was doing auto combo the whole time and not saying shit about the mitsuru. Anyway they are definitely right that I need to work Fire boost into my game, but ultimately not bad for my first persona tournament. Scrubbed out of EVERYTHING else, Guess it was just an off weekend.

Yeah I pointed out that you weren’t doing autocombo. And I don’t know anything about the character but just based off the UltraChen thing apparently fire boost isn’t even that great? It’s a miniscule increase in damage and you have to give up time for setups and stuff for it right? You def need the unblockable tech though. I think I only saw you use it once at the end.
I have a few unblockable resets, I just need to find a way to work them into my game/combos so i don’t just end up doing a raw one and look for a setup after that
yeah and most yuki talk i see, say people don’t bother with fire boost, but i think its a matter of opinion. When i knock someone away, I’d rather sandwich them with pressure and not use that time to get a miniscule power up

Does this mean yet another game bites the dust for Tally? You guys seem pretty bitter about what happened.
2-2 in both FG tournaments. I was a bit outclassed in Marvel and rusty as all hell with the Rogster when it comes to playing matchups correctly. Honestly, I think I sucked hella ass although everyone I played from Miami swears otherwise. 2nd in DDR, so I won’t complain.
Nope not bitter at all, For me the game is extremely legit and fun and I will continue to play it as long as I can.
So after sleeping on it and remembering what Mike and I discussed during your streamed match I have some recommendations about the way you play certain matchups. So you do the pressure setup instead of Fire Boost/Break. But you sandwich them with the same pressure setup. Block Konohana Sakuya high then low block everything after that unless you see AOA. Not to mention that pressure string brings the character *back towards you. *This is great in matchups like v. Naoto and peeps that wanna keep you out but I don’t understand doing this to Mitsuru. Full screen Mitsuru is a lot less scary than in yo face Mitsuru. I bet you JC was thanking you in his head every time you did that pressure string.
About Fire Break: You didn’t do it until the second game which I think is wrong. I’d like to see you use it more and I’m glad you are looking to use it more. Maybe not a lot more because you’re committed to the next fire move being unblockable and you don’t want an unblockable Agi or something. Cooldown is 15 seconds so I understand the feeling of “hey if I miss I can’t use it for 15 seconds and some time then I could have used it, what a waste”. But if you’re sitting on hella meter I want to see it more. Maybe something like 5BB into Maragidyne or something?
Finally I want to see you have your FC combos down. I’ve seen some Fatal hits that were just 5AA 5B 5C 2C Agi or whatever you normally do. These are not disses, burns or any sort of condescending comments; these are things that I think could help you out.
Chris: I went 0-2 and I was and am extremely excited about this game. Lost to Cary’s amazing Labrys and realized I have zero matchup exp with her. Then I played Locate (that awesome Teddie you were loling at) in a Ted mirror which was funny and frustrating and a great learning experience. I’m super pumped to keep learning and playing, even if it means more 0-2s.
