Tallahassee, FL Thread: Home of Sissy Fights and CP! (Tournament 10/13)

if you break your hand but still have your index and thumb fingers i have a new claw grip for starcraft and fps that works wonders. lol…

OK who here can understand Japanese? I got the Ace Attorney movie but it isn’t English subbed. But frick it, I’m gonna watch it anyways!

i wish MLG was everyweekend. High levelsc2 for 10hours straight for 3 days…soo good. Wish i was there playing in person too. Nothing beats MLG atmosphere especially when being a contender.

I really want to practice Marvel throughout the week, so I’m going to hit up anyone that’s willing to play. Everyday.

We can play over the phone Mike. You tell me what you want to do and I’ll make the training mode dummy do it then respond.

Sorry, I only have soup cans and string.

Somebody quick, set up Mike and Ron with that good BBS so they can communicate using new-world technology.

(Man, I hope everyone here is old enough to know what that is…)

Takes me back!](‘http://www.textfiles.com/directory.html’)

setup pmode MikeG with 1bar latency. For broken hand games. YESSHYESSSSSSHHH

I knew you wouldn’t let me down! So boss! I used to play this game called Legend of the Red Dragon… Logged into the BBS every day to play a text RPG. The model would eventually become the same exact game model used for all these daily log-in Zynga games. The more it changes, the more it stays the same…

Brings me BACK so much.

I’ve spent sooooooooooooooooo much time playing MUDs. There’s one MUD I’ve probably played more than any other MMO, fighting game, or whatever combined.

had to design one in middle school in '96 never got into them though. Seemed tight enough, its probably the 2 months of programming one that turned me off to playing them. That and when lego robotics came out my school left that shit behind.

AN ARMY OF FREE SLAVES bitch pick up my apple and put it in my bag.

EXECUTE.

Same; MUDs and text/ASCII based roguelikes almost solely make up my first gaming moments, haha. Which one were you on?

I was on zMUD for a short period, right before I swithed over to Dungeon Hack (kickass PC dungeon crawler with graphics, also based on AD&D/Forgotten Realms rulesets) and Diablo 1.

You guys are fucking nerds.

Went to the gym today of my own volition. Feels good! on that note, Casuals tomorrow at 7, I want people to come out so i can get practice for storm this weekend.

Adam, just for you: http://www.mediafire.com/?mxb3tatu0px53ca

Hello, my name is Chris and I am a King of Fighters player playing out of the Orlando area.
Very recently, central Florida KoF has been struggling with attendance at events. A tournament in Altimonte was cancelled this week because we couldn’t even put together an eight man bracket. Two weeks ago in Tampa wasn’t much better, we drew eleven.
That got some of the locals to talking about what we might do to save this game before it disappears outright. The conclusion we came to was that we need to network a lot better. Get central Florida on the same page as north and south Florida. Be willing to travel. Basically turn the smaller local scenes into one big Florida scene.

Most of central Florida’s communication is done through Facebook, and if that’s the case here, if you could give me some names of the local KoF players I’d appreciate it greatly. If not, I will be stopping by the regional boards occasionally, more often closer to events, and I encourage you guys to do the same.

Thank you.

I dunno who still consistently plays around here but you could try creating a Florida KOF FB group, similar to Florida Calibur or Florida ArcSysWorks group. That way all FL players can get on the same page for tournaments and casuals.
