Something a little Halloween-themed
oho, nice additions of the corset and the fishnet texture for her stockings! 
I thought, "What would Morrigan look like if she was a guest character in a Tekken game (where everyone wears heavily-detailed costumes)? Hence the corset and etc.
Another artist that I always looked up to was Masamune Shirow, who always adds textures and 3D models to his traditional artwork.
But I’m taking a break from textures and heavy photoshopping. It kind of overpowers everything that I actually drew.

i’m loving the way you’re using textures. whether it’s intentional or not, the way you’re keeping the textures flat is really neat. kind of like it’s paying homage to traditional manga toning patterns
:u: It’s a little bit of both. Like, that was exactly what I went for with the Linn pic, but I didn’t really like the flat look on Nero, so with Morrigan I tried to use Photoshop’s Warp Transform and Displacement Maps.
Maybe I won’t give up on textures, never say never. Thanks for the feedback errbody :tup:

Stuff I’ve been working on lately…
I’m taking a short break from licensed stuff (that kind of kills your imagination) and working on coloring skills, and just working faster. In both pics I started painting in black and white, then added color with a Color layer in PS, and went from there. It cuts down a lot of time.
