I love how you guys are still talking about that and have taken the whole thing completely off of what my intentions were.
If I wanted to steal the shit, why would I have willingly reported it to the owner and given it back as soon as I found out who it belonged to, after I repeatedly tried to find out who’s it was back when I was at the original place and didn’t get an answer?
What kind of “thief” goes back to the person he/she stole from and goes “Oh hey, this is what I stole from you, here you go, have it back”.
This isn’t some Robin Hood Shrek comedy sketch.
Then again, this is like typical high school bullshit mentality. You only listen to the group of the bigger number of people, even if that majority is fucking wrong.
Can we be on different teams for different games? I’m definitely teaming with dems and sinoya for BB and SF, but would like to do Marvel teams and I doubt they’ll be in for that.
If so, anyone got an open slot on their team for MvC3?
I knew it was a trolling, I was just setting the record straight. Because quite frankly, I’m sick of it. I do something with good intentions, and it gets taken completely the wrong way.
Wait so the guy picks up a stick, cant find who it belongs to and just takes it thinking that its ok? Man if this was how things worked i’d probably of stolen everyones TE thats ever been to a tourney.
It was also Rai’d’s stick, the one stick that everyone in Waterloo would have recognized…
Also, the guy took the stick back to his home which is 3 hours away from Waterloo…
Oh, and he also modded it as soon as he got home…
Aaaaaand… he didn’t actually report finding the stick until he got caught by people from his community.
Yet, the man still denies guilt and is yet to be banned from community events.
Here’s what he had to say:
edit: sorry for derailing the thread… but I really think it would be best to just ban the guy from attending so that we don’t have to worry about the guy trying to be “helpful” again… especially since Windsor is like 11 hours away from MTL
^
And you people still continue to talk about it and keep over-exaggerating details to make me look worse than it really is.
Would you rather it have been left on the ground so any random person would have actually stolen it? It got back to the owner safe and sound, with nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, I gave it back better than it originally was, with the buttons for MP/HP and MK/HK (depending on you preference) being tightened up and actually sticking to the stick’s base as opposed to how they were before, practically sliding around whenever they were pressed.
Like I already just said earlier here, what kind of “thief” willingly gives back a stolen item, and even tries to give it back in better condition than it originally was?
And no, I reported “after” because I’m not the kind of person to frequently visit SRK every half second of my day like you guys do.
I know you get bored as shit during the day with nothing to do but play Street Fighter and exaggerate shit on forums, but wow, it’s hilarious how long you’re willing to drag shit for.
Oh and Toronto is only 3-4 hours away from Windsor, I’ve fucking gone down there quite a bunch of times in the past. Once again, over-exaggerating details to try and make other people look bad. Over nothing.
You must be part of the 15% in Ontario that is illiterate to be unable to properly read my post, completely missing the point that I was using the term “stolen item” as a hypothetical object.
still much smarter then someone who claimed to have the stick modded in order to try and get some sort of financial restitution for giving it back, when the unique aspects of the stick showed us that not only did you not mod it, but the stick was not even opened.
Have fun at t12, i will be in your ear during every match lol
