I just wanna give props to everyone from the GTA scene for being really welcoming.

Mad props to RXS too for taking good care of the stream.

Of course, everyone who helped run it did a fantastic job.

And of course, props to the arakune cosplayer.

Thanks to Russell, Alex, and Joseph for getting T11 together when most of us thought it wouldn’t be happening this year. You guys did a fantastic job!

To the other bracket organizers Anant, Gerjay, Greek, and Rob: I think we held it down pretty well! Thinking we lost the money box, my lack of knowledge when it comes to technology, etc. It was nice hanging with you guys all day.

To the bracket assistants Davero, Nguman, TikTok, and whoever else I may have called on to check something for me: Thanks so much for your help!

Vince you did a great job running the stream all weekend. You better wear that monster rancher shirt at the next tournament!

Thanks to everyone who travelled from out of town to get to Toronto for this. It was great to see how many places were represented! Arturo thanks for the compliment and thanks for explaining what was going on in SF to me.

Sorry if I snapped at anyone yesterday. I was feel tired and grumpy at some points because I had less then 4 hours of sleep the night before but that is no excuse.

Thanks to Neorussel and everyone else who was hosting and running it. You guys did an amazing job and everything went by so smoothly. A fantastic turn out too and I’m happy to see so many people in the GTA and everywhere else for supporting it. Let’s make the next one even better.

That MM match before the Super tourney was absolutely insane. Definite one of the best highlights.

ohh shit i just told like 50 new people at T11 about TFNS open every friday at 5pm now im going to look stupid when they come this coming friday and think im a liar :S

Thanks for a very well executed tournament and for all the coordinators’ efforts. Thanks to NeoRussell for all his efforts and being cool with the TV setup for older games. Thanks to Dogberry and Jed for helping me push some ST on friday night. Thanks to Dark Dragon for running the 3S teams tournament. C-Royd for being a cool dude. Also a big thank you to AdamB and Jabir for partnering with me. And also super thanks to Samir for using my American AE stick in the 3S teams showing me that I’m not the only one left who still uses American.

Uh Teammates? I was about to say that Ottawa 3s would have made an appearance had there been more 3s representation at this tourney (namely teams), but you guys still rock. Hopefully next year!

As my first major, T11 was my chance to see how id fair against the best in Canada and some of the US. I definitely had my doubts about how the tournament would run/the venue, but i would like to say that the people who ran brackets (rob, greek, anant, gerjay, emily) did a fanatsic job. Without them, i dont think t11 would be the success it was.

Secondly, dice and russell, amazing job at putting everything together. Obviously T11 couldnt be done without you guys. Also to arturo for keeping us all humble. Next time we are running that cammy vs rose back and i promise i wont be whiffing the ultra off the spin knukcle this time.

Jug, yeha i do and ill be adding you asap. Bitter taste in my mouth from that guy match. Ill be doing my homework before seasons beatings.

Thanks to everyone who came by the suite to help me level up before and after t11 and for everyome coming out to t11 to make it the success that it turned out to be. Furthermore, thanks to MTL for lipping off the hotel manager for me in a language he didnt understand, truly amazing lol.

My 3v3 teammates, patrick and ian for OCVing some quality players and clutching out a variety of wins, and lastly to the waterloo, sauga and gta players for beating me for free for so long casuing me to learn and relearn this game.

  • Everyone who had my back for my big MM on Saturday before the singles tournament and for everyone who kept the room so loud. I noticed the crowd going wild each time I won a round and the crowd being dead silent each time I lost a round :D.

  • Waterloo crew for having me as one of your own for the past 4 months. You guys are the best. The fastest growing community in Ontario. I predict T12 to be dominated by Team Autoshop next year. Shout outs to scott for organizing the MM Suite. Sorry for MTL not supporting :frowning:

  • Rob, Anant, Emily, Gerjay, Noodles, BigSalty and whoever else helped run the brackets so smoothly for the duration of the tournament.

  • RXS for the last minute Streaming for the tournament.

  • All those who came to MTL room to chill/MM/hang.

  • MTL Crew. I missed you guys soooo much!! and holy shit snafoo is so godlike

  • BigGreek for giving me one of the most difficult and stressful matches I have ever played. I wanted to give you props for putting up such a good fight and coming down to the wire, even though you didn’t want to shake my hand afterwards.

I recorded the entire even on USTREAM however it looks like there might be some issues with the videos. I have contacted Ustream and i’m awaiting a response from their support.

Although I only showed up on the friday, just wanted to say thanks to Alex/Russell for getting T11 together and the SSFIV organizers. GGs to whoever I played games with tournament/casual and hung out with. Also thanks to Emily for the the baked goods and Vince for streaming this at the last minute.

Thank You Everyone

This was one fun and long weekend. After 2 months of planning, a very vocal thread (I liked that), and for some reason attention on how I post, T11 was a success. The event started for me on Wednesday. Setting up equipment, setting up TFNS, renting chairs, then making sure everything ran fine during the event… I can’t count how many times I ran from different communities asking if everything was alright and if they needed help.

The only thing I was really salty about was when I was eating my Poutine upstairs, I got called downstairs and didn’t get to go back up till 30 mins later. My food got ruined and I was sad about that.

Thanks everyone for being patient with me throughout the event, I know I yelled out a few things in the megaphone that may have irritated a few peeps. Had to be said.

People that deserves my thank you:

Vaughn: Wow, this tourny was a challenge from the start. Thanks for being reasonble with my request to move shit around. You trying your best to please my request and me trying my hardest to maximize space. You are a great business man by the way you help out your customers. I am a satisfied customer . Hope to do more tournaments with you altogether.

Sheldon: Thanks for helping out with setting up the place. So much needed to move and Vaughn, me and my friend would have taken a bit longer without you.

Dice: Thanks for TFNS. Without it, T11 would have not happened.

Emily: Thanks for being helpful with the Registration/Brackets/Brownies/Cookies and overall being there to help anyone who needed help. You were an all around helper and I felt that everyone was happy that you were around.

Anant: I want that picture of me getting slapped on the face with the 1st place prize money. Thanks for helping out with the brackets. Thanks for helping out with the thread and thanks for just being nice about your answer when I kept asking about bracket reports on the tournament. I know I got annoying when I kept asking the organizers about it every 30 mins.

Gerjay: Same as Anant. Thanks for helping out with the brackets, you guys ran through that like crazy.

RB_999: I didn’t really talk to you that much but I could tell you were also busting your ass to make sure the tournament was great.

Davero: A thanks to you as well. Bracket organizing is never easy but you guys working together made it look like childsplay.

I know there are other peeps helping with the brackets, thanks as well. You guys were awesome.

Vince: Thanks for stepping up with the Stream. I could see that it wasn’t easy to be stuck in one place for the rest of the event. I didn’t really see the stream since I was in the Event but people are telling me that atleast they get to be a part of T11 even though they could not be there. Thanks and i’ll talk to you soon.

Sheik: Thank you for being the reporter and photographer of the event. I’m sure we will have great memories from pictures that you took. Post up links when available.

Larry: The shirts were awesome, I saw people with funny quotes and I figured you had a hand in it. Thanks for bringing smiles to the people who read them.

To everyone who participated in the event.
Without you guys, there wouldn’t be any T11. So my big thanks to everyone who came. Hope everybody had a great time.

To all the haters, hope this puts you guys in your place. Just believe in the organizer next time and everything will work out.

If I do T12 next year, we’ll try to top this one.

If you guys have any comments for things that can make next year better, feel free to let me know. I will be out of the country for the next 3 weeks to check out asia’s competition. See you guys when I come back.
