I was surfing craigslist for arcade parts and came across this guy who has happ two player set of buttons and joystick for $36.

what? Happ set with 14 buttons two joystick and cherry switches for $36. You must be kidding me anyways he is local Dallas so I am going to pick this up to make my Happ stick.
that’s not much of a deal. If you’re local and like happ’s new competition stick I guess it’s ok. Most people are sticking with the iL eurostick aka the real happ competition stick though.
Where can I get a better deal then?
well you’re in dallas so it’s not a better deal but if I was ordering parts I would go with ponyboy and order iL stick and buttons. it’d be only 3 dollars more for that same set but the quality is much better. actually if i was in dallas I would still pay the shipping cost to get iL parts.
edit: the buttons I think still might be ok unless tornado terry has new stock without cherry switches. but if he has the ones with cherry microswitches then mayb eyou can pick up the buttons from him and order the iL sticks from ponyboy and maybe that could save you some shipping costs.
Cool thanks I found the Pony Boy thread, and I made myself more educated on the difference between IL and Happ. I understand they sold out to the Chinese. Anyways thanks for the info, I definatley want an american style stick…
