Once again MGL bites the dust…just when you think the place has turned itself around…you go there and the same story happens again. Chapter whatever…player 2 side lp and MP on CvS2 barely respond…for every three jabs you press 1-2 come out…wtf??? Now I can see how this can happen and things like that…then I hear it was like that since last week…how scrubby…and the 1st player side’s stick is loose for no reason as Eric Lee he knows…ne ways thats why SVGL > MGL any day of the week…due to the fact that there is more solid comp and actual working cabinets…

Yeah, that 1p stick is funny. It works, though, once you get used to not having a solid neutral position. The 2p buttons are a different story. Expecting to cancel a run to avoid a super and ending up running into Sagat’s legs flopping about is kinda crappy. Plus, it makes you look like a bad player…
I’m not sure where everyone lives, but SVGL seems closer to everyone I know than MGL. The comp may be different at MGL, I know they’re good and worth playing, but the comp is still good at SVGL in all games. Having 2 working cabinets for CVS2 and 3rd Strike might make a difference too.
MGL does have more Asian girls worth turning your head for, at least during the times I’ve been there. Um, they do have a better SVC cabinet…

Nope, going to UCR. A bloke I know on here named knubbe is going who plays, as is one my good friends whom I toured Davis with. She says she’s considering getting into Marvel because she got a picture of team Davis and thought Robert Lew was hot.
The CvS2 cab at MGL arent that bad but they aint perfect either. I know for a fact that the buttons and joystick work fine cause at least every fighting game is tested on Mondays to make sure it works. I think you peeps need to play more at MGL and get familiar with the cabs. When I play at SVGL I aint use to the cabs there basic 3s move that I do at MGL I fuck up at SVGL I guess aint feelin that cab. But if ya knowsayin you live to far from MGL but closer to SVGL its all gravy. SVGL has more comp then any where in the Bay Area I think.
But if you come to MGL…play on the cab and aint feelin it…MAN dont complain cause you got owned by the locals. If the cabs are brokin then theyre brokin but if they work fine you just got owned. Oh boy

MvC2 sticks do suck ass at MGL… =X No offence or anything. Hence why no one wants to go there and play MvC2. 3s cab at MGL is great, just CvS2 was iffy when I tried playing on it. But everything else worked greatness. =]
MGL > SVGL when it comes to room, though. Oh, my god it has so much more room. =O And it never gets hot in there.
MGL also has the best SvC cab ever. =P

I dunno bout MVC2 but our 3rd Strike cabinet was in perfect working condition at that time if I do remember correctly. And for sombody who “SUPPOSEDLY” has strengths in 3rd Strike…makes you kinda think dont it.
My point? Mr. B here is bashing us for one game that was really broken. Not once did I see Mr. B make an effort to use his “STRENGTHS” in 3rd Strike…a cabinet that is well in working condition and that had mad competition at that time.
