Hello! I’ll try to come back during the weekends to visit especially when CFJ comes out. Until then, I guess I could post what the SF scene here is like here around where I live in SoCal.
The competition here at Camelot has been picking up since Evo is right around the corner. A couple weeks ago my friends and I would go there and end up playing against ourselves so it’s cool to see everybody coming again. I get beat down by Valle here in CvS2 but it’s good playing against him cause everytime I lose I try to work harder at fixing the holes in my game.
As for GGXX, there are lots of great players here. I still lose a lot though so that hasn’t changed. Just don’t say it’s cause I use Jam! I’m just afraid of getting counter hit often that I’m hesitant to go on the offensive. I’m starting to think that maybe Jam’s attacks have no priority or something. If I don’t attack, I get stuck in the corner and I have to try to jump or parry my way out.
Andry I know you possess lots of knowledge when it comes to GGXX so if I have questions I’ll ask you here yesh?

Hey! Don’t diss the coolest character in all of fighting games! I know she’s like low tier in GGXX and I’ve never picked someone that happened to be low tier before. I pick characters based on my liking and she fits my “in your face” style of play. But after playing her since I started GGXX, I can see why it’s hard to win with her, mainly cause she doesn’t do that much damage.
Hey Jon B. How’s the connection for XBox Live CvS2 when you play people in SoCal? Is it pretty good for our competitive standards? I’m thinking about getting it for CvS2 and other fighting game titles coming out soon. Driving 20 miles back and forth to Camelot takes its toll on gas.

I got a question about Evo since I’ve never been to one. Is it possible to request that I can get put into a late group for CvS2 since I have work during the day? The only game I think I can make it to is GGXX in the afternoon. I’ll just PM Tom if no one knows.
Actually, I’m not sure if I’m going to enter any game cause I haven’t been practicing as much as I wanted to but it will be cool to see everyone there again!
Ian, yeah, I think it’s possible. When you go to register, ask them if they can put you the latest pool due to work. They did that for some people last year. =] So don’t trizzle.
