I showed up and played Tinh and Ricky Ortiz in my first three matches. I might’ve been able to make that something other than a disaster once, but not yesterday. I took both of them to three games at least, got an OCV on Tinh with Sentinel/BH/Commando in the one game I took from him. So at least I didn’t have to go away embarassed.
Had a social gathering to attend with a co-worker and her twin sister right afterwards so I was out of there as soon as I was gone, so I’ve got no idea who finished anywhere other than that I was out in three. Which also happens to be why I was getting so irritated when my match against Ricky O got stalled up, I wanted to know if I had a reason to stick around or not once I realized that I was going to have a one time national contender in my third match.

Thanks to everyone for coming out to NCR. The event was a huge success filled with lots of good times.
A huge thanks to SVGL and all of its staff for being so cooperative in replacing/fixing joysticks and buttons. Also for keeping the place open past normal closing time on Friday so that the team tournament could finish.
