Of course, it’s easy to follow that logic when you’re watching the game on TV, but you’re not the one who’s sleeping and starving with said people making those decisions. If they had food to eat and weren’t under so much stress, I imagine it’s easier to make sound decisions. But instead they take the first opportunity they get to make a power move and get offed themselves. Perfect game play strategy probably would be Cirie IMO from past seasons. Either way, Shannon more than likely is right about Brenda. I don’t see her being taken out just yet–she’s the head of the major alliance in that tribe, and I don’t see her doing anything stupid anytime soon.

I’m alright with this season though. Kinda hard to follow two great back to back seasons and the last one was an All-star edition so I’m giving this season a pass.
I’m actually pulling for Marty now even though he’s a dick, at least he’s thinking about the game. I want half-black enrique iglesias to have more screen time so I can find a reason to hate him. I know he’s a racist fuckwit but I need to find a juicier personality disorder I can hate him for.
Has there ever been a negative black stereotype character in survivor? I think Naonka is the first one. I don’t think there has ever been an annoying ****** archetype in survivor. She’s straight out of a VH1 reality show.

There’s usually at least 2-3 stereotypes represented on Survivor. But the 2 I listed had great T&A to balance it all out (ok maybe just Candace).
Dreamz was a homeless guy and he wasn’t even obnoxious for the sake of being obnoxious, that shit was pathological (not even counting cross-generational “inherited” from slavery days). He wasn’t playing that shit up for the camera.
Entire black team wasn’t lazy it was just that one Jazz guy who slept all day who promptly got eliminated first.
Yasmin had energy but she wasn’t a cunt like Naonka.
Candace was a lawyer and a beauty queen…wow what a common black stereoype. If she came off as a stuck up bitch those two are the main reasons why.
Crystal wasn’t really a stereotypical ghetto cunt either, sure she had her outburst but you can’t count moments like those as a description of the whole. Naonka can’t keep her mouth shut and is like that all the time, Crystal was just in her cunt moment when it was against Randy and when she knew that her alliance had the power. All the time before that she was kept together and wasn’t looking to fight constantly like Naonka.
It’s unfair to count every outburst or fingersnapping moment of a black person as proof of them being a stereotypical ****** hoodrat, there will be shades of those coming out since that’s the environment some of them came from after all, but you have to count them as stereotypes if they are like that ALL THE TIME and always looking for a fight no matter what situation. Naonka is really the only one who is like this who belongs more to the VH1/Jersey Shore/Bad Girl’s Club type of reality TV shows.

Yeah I was gonna say that it doesn’t really matter that Candace was a lawyer cuz she pissed off everyone with her attitude and America is gonna see that with their old perspectives. Honestly I think she did it on purpose cuz her real intent was furthering her acting career, like so many of the early castaway votes. She had no business being in an environment like Survivor other than Hollywood ambition. She didn’t really have “all the time” to flesh out her character, but we did get some great shots of her lovely rack.
But I agree that Dreamz was a real person with human problems, like any other Survivor contestant. Same with Crystal; it’s just easy to pick on Crystal cuz she can kill you. But Yasmin…come on man. NaOnka is basically Yasmin 2.0. And I still maintain that NaOnka is doing this all for show to further her marketability. That opinion of mine might change if the previews for the next episode aren’t trolling me…
I thought Yasmin was pretty bad. Afterall, she did get that one guy to say she eats ketchup sandwiches and kool-aid
Other than her, Nayonka is the worst I’ve seen. The black guy from the season with Smash Brothers Ken was pretty close to them both too. He was more so just the typical black lazy person though.

Sequence of events: I went to watch the show this morning, regardless of what happened here, the episode had already been spoiled by cbs.com. They may have changed the layout of their site by now, but whatever. Secondly, after watching the episode (when I came here), my complaints were for those who may have come into the thread not seeing the most recent episode expecting to see “black people love their chicken”, followed by said offender. If you had been keeping up with the show in the slightest bit, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who might have been accused. I see it your way as well but I don’t think there’s a reason why spoiler tags were said to be used by forum mods, but if the behavior here is accepted and I misinterpret the rule, then so be it. Some of us do venture into threads to view certain parts of discussions then avoid spoilers where applicable.
