Very good ending to an otherwise lackluster season.
Sash had shit-tier jury performance. Come on man, you need to do more than say “I stabbed you all in the back, let’s still be bff, k :D”.

Fabio pulled off the best Final TC performance EVAR. Holy moly, he had them crying and laughing on command! And despite all of that, Chase still manages to get FOUR VOTES. Of course that bitch Alina would vote for a moron like Chase, but I will admit that her question (the result, not the delivery, oh GOD no that was painful) proved to be interesting…and surprisingly, so was NaOnka’s question. The editing department’s hatred of Purple Kelly was amusing, glad they got in that one last clevage shot as that’s all she was good for anyway. She looked pretty pissed at the reunion. Speaking of which, they didn’t ask any questions to Tyrone, Yve :sad:, Jill, Purple Kelly, or Benry, the latter 2 being jury members. Instead, we got Terry Bradshaw’s redundant rambling, a pointless BRob update, and too much of Chase’s forgettable song.
Jane was one of my early favorites, and sadly, I was one of the masses fooled by her edit…if you watch her Ponderosa videos, you will see her true character. Very bitter, very jealous, morally righteous in an almost delusional way…you would think that an older person would grow out of that, but not in this situation. Slightly upset that she won fan favorite, but more upset at how bad this season turned out to be. Fabio winning does shine some brightness, though, and I loved his Wikileaks reference, vague as it was. People were quick to dismiss his surfer-dude-hippy-talk, but it actually made a lot of sense and people are still sleeping on him.

Yeah, Fabio winning kinda made this season better in the end. Had he not won, I probably would have not watched the remainder of the finale, much like the last time Parvarti won :mad:. Anyways, Sash wasn’t going to get any votes, no matter how he spun it, and I was surprised to see how Chase still got 4 votes after he pissed off so many people. I mean, Nayonka and Brenda were to be expected, but didn’t Jane vote for him too?
Enough about this season, it’ll go down as one of the worst to me.
Does anyone other than myself feel like the spin on “Redemption Island” next season will be awesome? I really think it’s a good idea since it now puts people who are physical threats to the game and otherwise lacking a beastly social game more of a shot not to be eliminated. Only question I have at this point is, would they still have the hidden immunity idols at play? Would they be hidden in the camps, or would they hide them at Redemption Island like they used to do with Exile Island?
I was a little surprised too. I thought some people would respect that (i.e. Marty) and some people would vote for him out of their alliances and relations (P. Kelly, Naonka). But he pretty much got exposed in the last two tribals

I honest believe if it’s that they are going to have girls vs girls/ guys vs guy physical challenge and if it’s the op. sex it’s going to be more of a mental/puzzle type game.

This season was dull (winner was deserved), but wow were the final votes rigged by the castaways for a more dramatic final? I’m excited for the new element of Survivor, yeaaaa! Basically I want to see someone get voted off constantly only to come back each time and be feared of being sent back. And the challenges at redemption island not only be about brawn but brains too.
From what I’m understand about the redemption island is that once you’re on the redemption island you stay there a la exile island until someone esle is voted off.
then you to duel it out. once it’s over if you win you stay on the redemption island till the next cast off comes.
I’m sure the redemption island part is going to last till the jury is starting up. then they’ll put you in the game with the rest of people.
it’s straight up mtv road rule real world challenge,but I’m digging it also. It’s going to make the redemption players fight with all their might if they want to survive. I rather just watch the redemption part then the whole survivor part. I can also see being exile for that period of time will make a person go nuts.
Ahhh you stay til merge or whatever time marker they have. That’s cool. Spend time with your opponent then figure out what’s going on etc. Good chance for the immunity idol to go back in the game if it’s been blindsided to redemption island. Thx for info, I didn’t watch any road rules/real world so this will be all new to me.
This season sucked balls. Only people I liked was Coach (a real coach, not a quidditch harry potter dragon coach) and BlackOnka. Not her, but her attitude brought a lot of “WTF, crazy bitch” moments and I am disappointed she didn’t get fired from her teaching job at her school. My brother and I were discussing if they would talk about her real life at the finale and they did but it was a let down. Someone with that type of explosive attitude should not be working with kids.
I’m glad Fabio was the youngest winner, that “man” comment was a stupid argument. You don’t need to be a man to to deserve a million dollars. And them making Chase seems like he is the only one that cares about his mom was stupid. I’m glad Fabio stepped up and said he also cares about her mom because that question was stupid to begin with.
Am I the only one that thought Brenda was Asian? My friend was telling me that the survivor website was saying that she was a latin chick.

Wow if Nayonka voted for Chase, Chase would have won. I thought Nayonka & Fabio hated each other!
That’s why I think they rigged it to make it look like it was a narrow victory. But then again they wouldn’t try to mess around with the votes and risk the million dollars go to someone they don’t want.
Well yeah, in the game she hated him. It was how he acted, all aloof and what not. But during the Final Tribal Meeting, when NayOnka asked him about how he felt hanging out with his mom during the family meeting ep. and was seeing his mom was the fuel he needed to make it to the final three. Fabio started by telling her that they were not able to hang out, because he had to win the challenge to hang out and he didn’t win. Also he started to cry, which is always good for t.v. and votes, saying yes seeing his mom just for those few mins. help him make it to the end. I think that moment made her vote for him to win.
Just finished watching the finale. Yes, at least there were a few good parts at the end. Saltiest jury that I can remember. Sash did deserve it though.

Pretty much that. My interest dropped when coach J was gone, and after Marty/Brenda became jury it was pretty hard to keep up. The two quitters was pretty rage-inducing too.
