It’s just interesting how all of the people here who have been seriously defending homosexual marriage/parenting are the posters who have been the most vocal anti-theists of this website. it’s been obvious that the support for this is really not out of anything intelligent but just for the sake of anti-theistic egos.

Do you even turn on news aside from Fox? There are tons of religious gays. I remember there being straight priests who were petitioning for gay rights to marry because they were okay with it, but they didn’t know how the church would feel about it.

There has been overwhelming support for gay marriage coming out of all avenues. It’s not restricted to some “anti god” movement. You would know that if you ever got out of your comfort zone and take a chance on listening to something outside your comfort zone.

I know of a Catholic Church in NYC that has an LGB community, they are all supportive of homosexuals as people… i think the pope is supportive or non-condemning towards homos but he is against thei marriage.

Besides, i never argued about Christian supports existing, i just asked why they support it if their religion is against. Please read. I honetly think a minority of Christianity just changed it’s views so they wouldn’t lose money and also being brainwashed by the media into thinking that homosexuals are a race.

I’m not against Homo-marriage entirely however I am against transgenderism. It boggles my mind as to how posters like Fishjiz would make statements as to how circumcision is wrong yet surgically changing your genitals is all ok and normal. It never made sense to me.

Now we have razor spamming disgusting images of “love”… no real man would even post pics of heterosexual love because only girls do that. Yet here he is posting homosexual “love” pics? Why would a real man care about other people in “love”, why would he take interest in it?

I didn’t say that gay people were more dangerous or evil than straight people. The example points towards “natural” not being an argument that has actual sway because there are lots of natural things in the world that are either unsafe or outright dangerous. Water is natural and you can still drown in it.

It has nothing to do with predators or killer butterflies or rogue unicorns that use their horns for malevolent purposes. It has everything to do with “gay is good because it’s natural” being an incorrect argument if “natural” is the primary evidence of being “good”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that. It also doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that metaphor isn’t used to compare something to something else in every facet of those things, metaphor is a slice of a thing compared to a slice of another thing to better illustrate the similarities of said slices while ignoring the whole since the whole isn’t the fundamental representative.

But I tend to back away from threads when people double down on the stupid. At this point I’m willing to let the world burn and just sit back and wait for my “I told you so” moment. The only thing interesting now is how long it’s going to take things to hit rock bottom, or if I’m wrong and things do actually hit a middle ground and become stationary And therefor never hit the bottom of the slippery slope, where this middle ground will be.

It’s kinda academic right now. I won’t know how it’s going to affect myself and those around me that I care about, for some time at least.
