"Supernatural" on the CW - Thank you for the 15 seasons

I think the idea is that Death is the death of not this earth or this universe, but the entire fucking scope of existance or whatever, while God is just the god of this small little part of everything.

thats how i took it…like death is literally the concept of death itself. death of planets/death of people/death of whole universe.

HOLY SHIT Lucifer just ran an Ultraaaaaaaaaaaaa COMBOOOOOOOOOOO! on a certain someone’s ass! And this is after THE SNAP? of Doom! Craziness. This show kicks so much ass it’s ridiculous.

…and yeah, Death was awesome last week…this show is too much.

Really sick episode and can’t believe this is just the season finale still, right? Would’ve made a great final episode.

This could have been one of the best SERIES finales ever. if it was that, the true ending of the show (like it was planned in the begin with)
Well can’t say i got problems with more of this awesomeness
Season 6 cant come soon enough

Chuck

Spoiler

BTW what was the deal in the end with Chuck? he turned into an angel?, Was it God? (i’m guess its the big boss…)

Guys…PLEASE use spoiler tags

Sorry about that
Fixed btw

I’m rarely satisfied by endings but this show really did a good job. Props to the producers.

@ darksoul173 : He finished his job.

Well that makes alot of sense
oh well maybe next season we will see him (not Chuck, the big man)

Now here’s the interesting little problem/annoyance… hell yes tonight’s show works as such a perfect series finale…but there’s the other part of me that’s craving more, so I’m also looking forward to next season, but it would be so awesome if that was truly the end. Really, besides the final episode here, how would you even top a season where they had to contend with angels, God and Satan himself, along with the 4 Horsemen and trying to stop the Apocalypse?! If I were writing that, I certainly wouldn’t try to top it…this is the kind of material you end a series with anyway. It’s always better to go out on a high note with such a quality grand finale…the alternative is to return with something that feels like a step down and disappoints the fans. (*e.g.— I think most Matrix fans generally agree that it would’ve been best if they stopped with the ending of part 1; no Reloaded or Revolutions were really necessary…except to get more money of course.)

*eh, scratch that… I was getting ready to type up a slight change or 2 I would’ve written in, but nah… it’s amazing and basically perfect as it stands now. Actually, I can’t even think of another “final episode” right now that beats this. I’ll need to have this entire series collected on blu-ray or something later.

God can always test them for more stuff, there’s Death and Crowley still lurking around. I don’t think the new season would top off this one but they can certainly try.

And we still got

season 6?

Spoiler

Sam-Lucifer don’t count him out yet lol

But yeah it should’ve ended for good after this episode and be remembered as one of the best shows to ever be on the small screen

Oh and the Anti-Christ too.

Felt like a series finale to me too. Still enjoyed it and I wonder how they are going to top themselves next season, but I have faith that they can.

Just finished watching the finale and DAMN that was a great way to end it. I kind of don’t want a season 6. I don’t think anything could top this and they should just leave it the way it is. If anything, maybe just episodes of them during this whole storyline, all standalone episodes perhaps.

ending

Spoiler

What was with Sam being there in the end? Is he an angel now, or was that still Lucifer? He didn’t look too happy while looking at Dean, but maybe that’s just his neutral expression.

See, that’s the great thing about the last scene, imo…it raises all kinds of interesting questions…

like…

[details=Spoiler]
-Is it Sam?..or Sam +Lucifer? Is Michael still trapped in Hell or did he manage to get out as well…or did him being there result in Lucifer/Sam being able to escape? What if Michael destroyed Lucifer and is in Sam now, back and pissed off because he had to spend some time there? Or, could this be Divine Intervention from God Himself? SO many “juicy” questions, story-wise. I love it.

Oh yeah, and then there’s the issue of fallout over the Apocalypse “fiasco”. Things obviously didn’t go according to plan, and I imagine the angels would not be too pleased with what happened here… Mike (in the wrong vessel anyway) got pulled to Hell, Zachariah was killed, and the Winchester boys employed the help of demons, along with Sam pumping up on the demon blood, all kinds of blasphemous commentary from Dean, the list goes on and on.

Then, Crowley is still out there, along with Death…but Death cannot really be stopped, at least not how he is portrayed here. In the Supernatural universe, he apparently ranks above “Big G” if even He must be “reaped” by Death at some point. Heh, that’s serious business.[/details]

next season

Spoiler

Good point. When I first saw the end I thought it was the original Sam (not possessed) but then again the spot light wouldn’t have flickered so there’s got to be something supernatural there. Also, I wonder if Chuck will make another appearance with the explanation of his poofing ability. I don’t think Death will be a problem since he’s been around and the only reason he became a problem was because he was on a leash, with that gone he should be cool. Crowley still has Bobby’s soul unless he gave it back behind the scenes or without letting them know. Can’t wait for the next season though.

I thought chuck was God…

Now that I think about it…

Bobby

Spoiler

Did Crowley ever give Bobby his soul back? Or is that assumed?

^
Bobby

Spoiler

Well since Bobby got killed and resurrected maybe it nullified Crowley’s spell?
