"Supernatural" on the CW - Thank you for the 15 seasons

Haha, a little bit, I remember there was an episode in the first season where they passed by the gilmore girls set and there was awkwardness.

I doubt we’ll ever see Michael or Gabriel, since they are Archangels who really don’t care about the dominion of the living.

Also, I agree with Chair’s spoiler.

Regarding what angels are supposed to look like, only one class of angel actually looks like that.

God tier

God

whats really good to is that god is every bit a prick the bible seems to make him out to be.

Lol at leaving dean in hell for 4 months then asking him to do work for him.

I actually liked the show better when there wasn’t God or angels or anything like that, but I’m curious where this is going to go.

I think it’s honestly too early to make that declaration that it was better before they introduced them. So far we’ve seen 10 min. of “confirmed” god/angel plotline otherwise it was similar now if they start getting preachy and shit I will agree with you entirely but from the short time we’ve seen it I get the feeling it will just be 2 sides of a battlefront. Obviously one is more “good” than another, but what makes a demon so evil in this series?

As far as I can tell it’s because they use humans for entertainment which is no different than what we do with other forms of life we consider to be below us. It will be interesting if the “good” side of the war does the same thing.

Spoiler

I mean if you really think about it “God” wants to use Dean for something. What did the original Yellow Eyes demon want to do? He wanted to use Sam to take over the earth. Why did he want to take over the earth? I presume because Hell sucks monkey balls. But so far in their behavior they haven’t really done much that is different from each other aside from demons just using people in a lot more viscous fashion. It will be interesting in my opinion to see how the other side regards human life. Just my 2 pennies.

I didn’t say it was worse; I said I don’t like it. I really enjoyed that there was no “good” or Heaven to balance out the wicked before, but now there might be.

though if they ever put azriel on it would be fucking cool as hell. since he’s supposed to be covered with eyes and tongues or sumtin to that effect.

i also looked up another angel who supposedly has a thousand wings.

ariels got a lions head lol.

basically all the angels that aren’t top tier arch angel level look weird as hell.

Kinda disappointed by Castiel’s entrance though. Not the entrance itself that was awesome…but it was wasted on such a scrub.

How can lucifer if he ever appears (which seems to be hinted at hugely) top that?

Will the sky turn red and rain blood and the earth open up and fire burn everything around Sam and dean and then ashes start to gather up into the form of a huge Demon with wings and eventual explode and then someone in a suit appears under it and dusts off a few ashes off his suit and says…“too much?”

also if i am predicting this right seems like dean will have angel based powers and sam will have demon based ones…

I wonder if their dad slept with both an angel and a demon and had them both respectfully… thus condemning sam and dean to have a final clash for the fate of mankind and dean having to kill sam…

I’ve been avoiding this thread. My girl and I watched the entire series in order starting a couple weeks back. We managed to get through all of season 3 just 2 hours before last night’s episode.

Awesome. I’m really psyched I got into this show. I figured out the angel angle right before we were clued in. I don’t mind the God twist. If there’s evil, there ought to be objective Good, too. Evil vs neutral worked for me too, though. I don’t like the new Ruby either. I didn’t like the old Ruby either. Blah.

old ruby was just starting to grow on me. This new one is garbage. I hate when people get replaced no matter why. reminds me of candice from heroes and Aunt V from Fresh prince of bel air.

the minute the bitch said cosmic…i went instantly to god and devil. Which makes things even more interesting since both guys are scraping by with basic tools. so it makes me wonder if the angel is gonna hook them up with some new tools.

Well, the show’s female fans really hate the important female characters and potential love interests, like Jo and Ruby.

At least they sort of explained it.

I’m starting to dislike female viewers…always ruining my TV.
Old Ruby was the hotness…

they accept their stupid fan pairings as gods truth. this show wasnt made for female fans in mind.

The fact is the only thing heavenly we have to go on is Castiel’s word and that one episode from a previous season. I doubt God himself will play to heavily in this season other than be who Castiel and whatever angels show up claim to take orders from but may or may not be working for.

Angel wings

[details=Spoiler] Besides the whole shadow wings screaming evil, there is little doubt that their objectives will conflict with Sam’s current objective to increase his powers.

And yeah, new Ruby is definitely not as hot as old tall girl and I usually prefer brunettes. But kudos for Sam tapping that ass and now being able to peace out demons with his mind. [/details]

Best (and only) season opener I have seen all week.

Hmm I’m also interested in where the whole Ruby teaching Sam how to use the FORCE will lead.

Thinking this as well. I don’t think Dean will get any powers but maybe a new gun or something along those lines. It could also be that Sam is lucifer’s weapon while Dean becomes god’s. All leading to them duking it out in the finale or something. Looking forward to how this unravels; SN has got to be the only show I actually try to watch on release.

thank god im the only one who instantly went into force choke mode when he did that.

Well, I really liked that the show really strayed away from affirming any religious faith, but now with God added to the mix, it kind of skews it in favor of monotheistic faiths. That’s really what I don’t like about this new turn of events.

Of course, I understand that they really did need a way to bring Dean back from the dead (because the show wouldn’t be the same without him), and (I’m hoping) Castiel could actually be something else telling us a grandiose lie.

^Yeah, I hear you there. If they do go with a God/ angels direction, they might not beat us over the head with the benevolent God and his angels. Old testament God and angels that resent humans would be okay. Castiel has already taken out a bitch’s eyes…You know, accidentally. I do kind of wonder if he’s lying, too. Even if he isn’t, we still can’t say for sure he’s a good angel. I don’t know if angels are supposed to automatically change if they fall from grace or whatever.
