First fifteen minutes was the planning stages I think, Dean, Sam and Old guy whose name I forgot were trying to figure out how to find and take out Lilith, Dean didn’t want them to rush into shit because they could all die and Sam wanted to summon Ruby. He did so, she told him he could fuck up Lilith with training and then Dean captured her for the knife.
I personally was sad to see Bella go. Sure she was a thief, liar and traitor but she was hot and had an accent. And I feel pissed that she could have been a recurring dime piece that might show skin. At least there is the chance that we have Ruby (sorta) in the picture.
The show has a lot of hot women, but none stay for that long.
The Ending
[details=Spoiler]I sort of fucked up having to help a relative all while it was going on. So I missed what happened in small bits. I saw most of the Invisible hellhound shred Dean’s innards all over the floor and Lilith try that white flash attack that wiped out the police station on Sam. But did Sam in anyway prepare for it or did he really just get blasted get up and punk her away?
Although hell reminded me way to much of Spawn’s version of hell with the chains.

Either way, can’t wait for the next season, one of the best shows on TV period. And I think one of the most violent as well.
That was totally sweet, except for a small part of the ending.
The thing

I wonder how Sam parried Lilith’s flash attack. She just kind of did it, and then the CW cut to 6 fucking minutes of commercials, and then when the show came back, Lilith just lost her white eyes. Weird and very anticlimactic.
Wow ok, I just managed to get a hold of the episode, and I must say, I’m extremely disappointed. I seriously thought that this was one of the most bad ass episodes ever until the ending KILLED the whole thing.
Anticlimax + cliff hanger = bullshit.
Season 4 episode 1 has lots of explaining to do. Fuck, I’m pissed.

I kind of think that whatever was dormant in Sam protected him from Lillith. Then she was surprised and got the hell out of there. I kind of figured Sam would have to try to get Dean out of Hell next season… And, this is kind of weird, but did Ruby seem hotter after Lillith possessed her?[/details]

Ruby did seem hotter. I guess it is all in the mannerisms and the way she behaved. Normally, she is bitchier and more aloof.
And fuck those 6 minutes of commercials!! Those were 6 looooong as minutes, followed by maybe 2 minutes of the show before cutting away to the end:sad:
And in response yes Ruby was hot as hell when lillith took over. She had that “I’m going to fuck you raw” look. And not the good kind of fuck either.
In response to to the ending of the episode I think it’s safe to say we all kind of saw that coming(end death was brutal though, still can’t believe what they get away with showing on this show).
Personally I think the first couple episodes of next season will be Sam unleashing his SSJ powers, followed by the rest of the season of him pwning shit up down there.

My thoughts of what happened with Lilith

I think that Lilith took something of Sam’s. She waited till Sam was screaming for Dean. It was then that she said “Yessss!” and did the white flash affect. I think she lied when she said Sam had nothing she wanted. She probably took some of Sam’s hidden potential power/whatever.
[details=Spoiler]*Well, 4Play wrote what I was going to (thanks for the help with the tags!!) I am one of those that thinks that there is a LOT more to Sam. More than just the being dead and not coming back the same like the beggining of the season had hinted. Just like his demon powers suddenly dissapeared once Yellow Eyes died. They didnt even TOUCH all that stuff that was hinted at in the season finale from last season (where Dean made the deal). I do think at the beginning of the next season, Sam is going to be a LOT colder (kinda like that ep where the trixter was playing with him).
[details=Spoiler]Nah I’m pretty sure she didn’t take any of his “hidden potential” which I move we start calling Demon Rage( /praise Akuma) I think she was pushed out by it. She was going to rape his shit and then all of the sudden she lost her powers basically. Not only that earlier in the Episode Ruby stated that if Sam wanted he could essentially wish her out of existence.
I do agree that we will see Sam develop into a more “hardcore” character and I foresee him being a lot more rutheless and many demons getting the beat down. I also predict the next season finale will take place in Hell[/details]
The link doesn’t say anything about the previous seasons coming out on BR though. But thank goodness that they are releasing Season 3 on Blu Ray. But I noticed it said, “hit teen series”
