It was a bad idea to have it on CBS in the first place. Knew it wouldn’t last long.
While the ratings may be good, they probably weren’t high enough for a big broadcast network.
All the more reason it should be on CW; I foresee it moving to CW since their threshold for renewal is a lot lower.
Well, it was have it on cbs, or not have it at all. Its ratings are fine. Even mentalist, which is one of cbs’s top 5 shows ratings wise, is pulling in low supergirl numbers right now.
I think the reason it hasnt been renewed yet, is because legends of tomorrow might get canceled, and supergirl might move to thursdays on the CW. Lets face it, legends of tomorrow has not future at all. Shows not bad. Its just subpar and linear as shit right now.
Supergirl moving to the cw would make it a 2nd place runner, clipping the heals of the flash. Arrow sucks this season too. The latest supergirl x flash episode was better than everything arrow this season so far.
Supergirl is still a cash cow. CBS will renew, but i think behind the scenes some shit is happening right now. Maybe they keep it, or cw takes it, and gives up some of the profits for a certain amount of seasons.
Dont worry. Show will be fine. I believe hollywood negotiations are in the mix right now, and or to build fake suspense. Quality wise, supergirl has shitted all over legends of tomorrow and arrow, and viewer wise, it still usually beats even the flash.

Arrows ratings this season are very similar to constantines. Its a shit season, and if it werent for cw’s low standards, it would be gone. Even arrows ratings shit all over vampire diaries and the originals, but compared to supergirl, theyre not good.
