Rolling out to Super tonight…hope to see some of you guys!
Hey guys. We’ll be meeting tonight at Super Arcade for some ST action instead of our usual time on Fridays. Wednesday is the busiest time at the arcade, and a lot of our regular members should be in attendance, so we should have enough players to run some good tourneys. We’re going to attempt to use a few different ST setup options tonight, so please bring your PC compatible arcade sticks.
I won’t be at Super Arcade this Friday, so there won’t be a tourney at that time.

GGs to everyone last night for the games. Big thanks to Watson for letting us run our events and to Sergjiev for slinging up all that stream equipment to help showcase some of our local players. Special thanks to DGV and undamned for bringing the special prototype version of the UD-CPS2 supergun and for them allowing us to test it out. The info from these public tests will help work out some minor software kicks in the firmware, which should provide a better product come release day. I’ll provide video of the supergun whenever it gets uploaded. Here are the results of the tourney:

A brief overview video of the consolized CPS-2 supergun created by Undamned. Read the description for a more detailed description on how it works. We’ll be using this supergun, in addition to any existing setups at Super Arcade, leading up to Evo. This supergun is still in the prototype stages, so some tweaks will be needed to adjust the firmware so that it’s ready for public release, but overall it performed flawlessly throughout the night.

Big thanks to everyone who showed up to last night’s tournament. Special thanks to DGV, undamned, Watson, Don of Don’s Arcade in Torrance, and Sergjiev. Undamned’s supergun performed flawlessly as usual, and Don’s supergun is always in use to support the ST scene here in Socal. I’m glad to see a lot of new players stare in amazement at our current setups and seeing them get interested in the game. We even got a few sponsored SF4 players trying the game out for themselves, and we’re starting to get a slow and steady influx of guys giving ST a shot. Here are the results:

Hey guys. Just got word that Bernie from Vegas and a friend of his will be in town this weekend and are looking to get in some ST Games. Since there’s a 3s tournament happening Friday night (today), I’m going to show up tonight to the arcade to also run ST.

GGs to everyone last night! I’m glad we had a few out-of-towners join us and have some fun over at Super Arcade and give them a taste of what Socal ST players can do. Hope Bernie and Macc had fun visiting us from Vegas! Big ups to all the 3s regs who continue to show ST some love and are really genuinely beginning to enjoy the game for what it is, despite how completely different it is from 3s. GGs to Papercut last night who still has a very, very strong Hawk. I only wished you came earlier so that you could join the tournament.
Missed you last night Cossack. We could all use some solid practice before Evo, and it’d be great to get in some games against your Honda. Hopefully we’ll catch you next time. Here’s the results.

So I’m gonna be at WNF this week. Will there be any ST going on? 
Of course! We’ll be glad to have you Fromo. I’ll most likely try to run a ST Games style tourney this week instead of the standard 2/3 double elim tournament to help prepare all of us for Evo. Tourney will most likely start up around 9 or 9:30pm, and I’ll bring my supergun setup.

Saturday, October 12, 9pm:
The OG documentary, Bang the Machine, is going to be played at Super Arcade at 9pm. You’re required to pay $10 to get a wristband, and they’ll have a Taco man on-site to feed you guys. No clue if tacos cost extra, but who cares, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to view a documentary that will never be made available for public purchase.

Saturday, October 26, 7pm:
Kuroppi and OFC will be hosting another ST tournament down in San Diego at the same location as the last tourney. PM me here or on facebook for more details. They will also be having another AE, UMVC3, and KOF13 tourney happening at the same time, so plenty of games to wreck shop in. He also wants to hold a 5v5 Exhibition match between LA vs. SD, so that should be pretty free for LA. LOL. Tania and I will be in attendance, and we’re willing to carpool, so holla at me.

Wednesday, October 30, 9pm:
We’re having a special guest from out of town come to visit the LA scene during WNF. Spliff32000, aka Reuben, will be flying in from Florida to stay from October 29 - November 1. He definitely wants to join our tournaments happening during WNF around 9pm, and hopes a lot of the ST regs will welcome him to town. So same plan as usual. Run a train on him until we bleed his pockets DRY. It’s the only way to welcome outsiders to the LA area.
man i havent posted on here for a long long time. just been mad busy trying to keep this place going. aside from san diego anything else going on lately or people just been on a hiatus? we arent open on mondays or tuesdays anymore but still here weds-sun if you guys wanna start coming around again.
