hey whats up jarrod! glad you love the game and hope more people start following. i currently have happ comps in that machine but for some reason they feel pretty badā¦ gonna try some wico 360s once i get them here and hopefully people will like them cause thats what im running im my ST and they seem to work well.
Iād love to run a HF tournament if you guys came down. A lot of the ST guys actually play the game, and everyone loves it.
Canāt make it tonight, I have to visit a friend in the hospital. Have fun guys.
Fasho Watsonā¦thats too bad, the thing I donāt like about 360ās is they are stiff and give me hand cramps and its hard to go to defensive crouch block effectively, but its your arcade and maybe they are better 360ās then the typical onesā¦before I go down there either my brother or I will contact Jeff Schaeffer to show up via his youtube account. I am hoping that you could get Tomo to play as well at SF2 HyperFighting.
Jarrod
these are the old school wico 360s 1st generation basically. the ones you played on are probably the cheap versions that were sent out to be made in taiwanā¦ far as jeff or tomo, jeff seems caught up with dota2 and hon so i doubt he will make it and tomo hasnt touched SF since like 93 lol, so gl in that effort.
Thats good to know about the sticks,
Anyway quick questionā¦In HF when I am playing Guile and a Ken player jumps at me ( and most likely will use Fierce thats just outside of Guileās close stand forward (the stand boot) range, what did you and Tomo do back then? Would you do a jump back roundhouse as soon as you saw him flip towards after you throw a jab boom?..I tried a late low strong, but that works on Ryu moreā¦
In fact, Guile has 5 frames added recovery in HF compared to CE after throwing a sonic boomā¦thats why its harder to get an opportunity to back hand Ryu after absorbing fireballs at same time.
My 2nd question is what is the best counter against kenās mid air hurricane confusion tricks, sometimes I notice close stand Fierce or neutral stand forward counters it and sometimes it doesnāt and he lands either in front or in back and Dragon punches me.
Mike you should play vs this dude named Old Mastah (from Canada) online GGPO in the HF room, he has a killer ken and ryu. I know it deysnchs but still I thought it would be cool to see ya play vs him.
Jarrod

GGs last night! Thanks for coming out and supporting SuperGun Saturdays :D. Also, thanks to Watson for providing the Almond Roca (Iām guessing thatās what they were) and allowing us to run another awesome tournament. GGs last night. I think we all got some good quality offline practice in time for SCR this Saturday. I really enjoyed this round robin format, I think it should be the standard for every Supergun Saturday tourney.
Sorry DJ. Weāre too underground for cameras right now
