Djfragile has the best thawk so far
I have to differ, DNGR have the best hawk (if you don’t count the japanese) followed by djfrijoles, i’ve played with both of them and yes papercut have the edge.
In the other hand, if you ask me who have the BEST n.ken in ggpo, is no questions djfrijoles.

Are there Japanese Hawks better than DNGR and DJ on GPPO? I have not found one yet and I have played a lot of them. I think DJ and DNGR are of equal skill level as far as I can tell.

Nira > Neoray
Neoray might look like he is better then Nira to the untrained eye because Neoray does more fancy moves and 720 tricks. But Nira straight up plays to win. Nothing fancy, just consistent tick throws, safe jumps, and option selects. He doesn’t do crazy stuff, but he gets more consistent wins. That’s just my opinion.
try playing hamann or boppyun
edit: also just played a set with anikatu and he plays a pretty fundamentally strong hawk. hits his ticks consistently and slowly works his way in
I’m not Hawk expert but i have to say that in my opinion they are even, different styles yes but the skills are equal, is like comparing Aniken Ken and Mattsun Ken. Aniken is like Nira, good safe jumps, spacing, zoning, good fireball traps even beating ryu players on fireball wars, he doesn’t like to take risks, he always takes the right choice.
Mattsun is like Neoray, damn, he’s the king of shenanigans, fancy combos and kneebash loops, watching Mattsun in action and his shenanigans is an eyegasm.
I love them both(no homo lol), we have two different styles but damn, they are awesome.
