This game is leaps and bounds better than KOF XII, and this junk has pmode too!. frick man im not saying its super amazing or anything like that but feels like a good game.
I need some comp in this junk asap. Taking Takuma into Pmode first.
Input Lag in KOF XIII
I heard a few of you had some problems with this so i did some tweeking and i have a fix(at least for my setup)
For those of you experiencing input lag in KOF XIII check your gfx cards prerendering frame delay. I know theres a setting for that on a Nvidia cards.
its auto set for 3 frames from pre rendering from gfx card to cpu. When i changed this setting to zero the input lag for the game disappeared if this works for anyone else let me know.
a few other things i changed were
vsync on (obviously because if i dont the shit literally runs at 3.2k fps)

It’s not input lag, it’s input dropping (though both may exist). It’s a problem in the emulator/rip that’s existed with each of the ripped X2 games that as far as I know has no fix.
yea when i first installed the game id hit the button and it would take a second or two for it to show. when i changed the settings everything comes out crispy and soon as the button is pressed.
ive been hitting some of these pmode combos with takuma and it doesnt feel like any of the inputs are being dropped at all now the lag is gone, but james might be coming over and if he does then well have the whole night to test it. Get some fraps too just like arcana.

James is over here and had about a good hour to hit the game up in pmode. Didnt feel like he had any dropped inputs and outside of the game being emulated a little slower than the original games speed everything is responsive, fluid and smooth. Even with fraps on.
I will definitely be getting on that pmode myself hardcore until the game comes out.

Yessir, the building’s ps3 is back up too so ill be putting AE on that bish. Ill be there trying to get some KoF13 going too! Hopefully i can edit the graphic settings of those computers
I can come up there one day and help you with it. Those computers are running 2 ATI cards(2x 4850 iirc) in crossfire (ATI’s version of SLI) Ill do some research on their firmware to see how you can change those settings.
