Well, Art’s just confirmed the obvious (that all of his old plexis work on the S). Now to see if I can afford to have one shipped over internationally, so I can mix and match it with my round 1 TE to create a set of P1 and P2 TEs.
does anyone know if fedex sucks with updating there pages it still says no info found even though it was shipped on tuesday
Well, the tracking info on mine didn’t update until it arrived earlier today.

sometimes they do when shipping things a fairly long distance… something i ordered that shipped through them didnt update for 2 or 3 days while it traveled across the country.
amazon is on the ball. ordered a black & white ps3 sticks and they will be here tommorow. even with next day shipping the total was a reasonable $275.95.got a five day weekend coming so i wanted my sticks asap

Can you tell me how it feels and your general impressions on it? I’m looking to buy a new stick but really want to know more about the SSF4 TE sticks. Does the little ridge at the bottom hurt your wrists ever or anything? Is it sturdy like the older TE?

GENERAL IMPRESSIONS looked good only thing i didnt like was the colored buttons (360)anyways buttons and stick feel good and ive only been playing on my lap so far so the ridge doesnt seem to affect me at all might hurt your wrists if you use a table

Yeah, my white 360 stick came in today as well. It looks and feels great. As mentioned the colored buttons are stupid but whatever I’m going to swap them out and the artwork anyways like with the 1st round TE’s. I’m actually very pleased as I thought it was going to be a lot lighter than the old TE’s but it feels very heavy and solid. Definitely glad I finally pulled the trigger on this.
There was a small scratch on the base right above the headphone slot but whatever. It’s not like the stick was ever going to be kept in perfect condition anyways.
I really really love the new black thin sides though. I’m also going to try to just put an extended plexi on this rather than a full plate. We’ll see how that turns out.
That is what I am thinking of doing. I am going to order the white one from amazon then replace the buttons and the artwork too at some point.
I’m glad to hear that it is a solid stick I think I will go ahead and order one now too especially since it supposedly fixes the PCB issues.
I will say that I don’t like the feel of the joystick compared to my round 1 though. For some reason the round 1 feels stiffer than the S but it’s possible that it’s all in my head. I might just replace the joystick when I’m modding just to see what’s up. The sharp corners of the full panel are annoying though. I wish art made a full panel plexi with rounded off corners (basically a even more extended version of the extended plexi).
decided to go back and order a WHITE 360 one this time… since ill probably change the art work anyways. amazon says it’ll ship next week (will have it tuesday)… also it was 20$ off. weeeeee

Do the corners bother you really badly? These are the issues that I am truly concerned with. I definitely want the stick to be comfortable and as well made as the last ones.
