Nah I understand. I’ve had good luck overall, but a lot of my friends had fucked up PCB’s and etc on their TE’s, and sometimes it happened during tourneys.
Just keep checking both this thread (to see if MarkMan has a date for the pre-order start) OR stop in your local GameStop or watch the GameStop.com website to see when the pre-orders start.
I would imagine the pre-orders will be up by late February/early March at the latest…
guessing these will be on pre order soon ( since the mvc te are on sale ).
nobodys got a high res picture of the black one?
i would also like to see a high res of the black one. Im also curious too see the box the TE “S” stick comes in since its smaller than the original TE or will the inner packing things be different? i know its kinda an odd question but i keep the stick boxes on my shelf and the suspense is killing me:woot:
Filipinos making moves in the world… I respect that!
+1 :d
Are the prices suppose to be slim too or will these be $149?
$149 again… that’s become the standard for new-release Mad Catz TE sticks.
Wait a few months after release or look on the Net and they’ll be at least $20 cheaper.
You can find Round One sticks still available and on sale for $100 online, Round 2’s on sale at better discounters for $129, and the Marvel Vs Capcom TE sticks on sale at GameStops all across the US for $100 now.
Sometimes it pays to wait. A bunch of us have taken advantage of the GameStop M Vs C sale have picked up another stick for modding or have just gotten our first TE/M Vs C variant.
I kind of thought there was going to be a stick glut and it’s happened already.
$60 off the M Vs C stick was just too enticing to pass up. I had originally planned on getting an R2 for my next art mod but plans changej! Have to be flexible and crafty when you’re on a budget…
@Mark
Just read the news that you guys aremaking a crapload of money. Hope this means we get to see more sticks and stuff this year seeing as how they did you so well last year.
Oo
I have a regular TE 360, none of this never happened. Ever. I play on Pc though, and never had opportunity to plug it into a XBox. Just works perfectly fine to me. I’ll check is all that are common issues, 'cause it looks like hell.
I like the full panel art, but I don’t think I really like the idea of chopping the sides off. As some others have said already, every inch of the TE’s huge base is part of why I love it so much.
I personally think it’s awesome they made however many million off of products with cut corners and capcom logos…
The MadCatz in them still seeps through.
Yeah, I’m probably just buying one of the next gen HRAPS and dual modding that instead of going through more shit with my beautiful (yet horribly flawed, pain in my ass) tournament edition.
real talk.
Just read Nakky mentioning MadCatz in her blog. Does this mean that the SSFIV sticks from MadCatz will be availabe in Japan now as well (and that Hori isn’t producing SSFIV sticks, unlike with vanilla SFIV)?
Hi d3v,
I’m new on here, but I had a read of the blog also and seems like
Mad Catz are making the official SSFIV stick this time round in Japan.
I have asked Mark Man if he knows anything but I assume that the
xbox360 white edition available now is a test run?
(just speculation)
pity mad catz don’t seem to have an official japanese website
up yet (i couldnt find one). I’m hanging out for TE for ps3 in japan!
would be awesome if they make a ltd ed pack with the game n stick
together.
i know this is the tournament edition S thread, but is there a chance we might see an S edition of the standard fightstick? i never dipped my feet in the smaller fight sticks but i read the parts in the tatsunoko stick are awesome and i think i could use a smaller case. thanks!
I’m hoping for this too.
They couldn’t really make the SE any smaller without an actual case redesign.
This TE “S” all they did was change the side panels which pop off, a lot easier.
who knows. they could put theiir improved buttons and stick, slap on some new artwork and change the case color to black. id buy one just for casual play
