I believe it was mentioned that it’s the same material as that on the original TE.

Only on PS3 as the coloured buttons are now required by MS for the 360 version.

The top PC panel is a different thickness compared to the original TE. It’s thicker/stronger/heavier for the top artwork pc panel.

And yea, there will be two designs available for both platforms. The Xbox 360 ones will use colored buttons, as seen in the pics.

Will there be updates to the fightpads? Would be nice to get one for the friends who prefer to play on pads.

EDIT: I know about the “Round 2” pads with Sagat etc. I was hoping for an improvement on the implementation as I have heard bad things about the diagonals on the pads. But it really doesn’t matter - if there isn’t an update to the pads I’ll have an excuse to buy another stick.

So yea, with the release date of Super Street Fighter IV announced (April 27th)… Looks like you should know when to expect these to hit stores (a few weeks before game launch).

I don’t know what you mean by colors on the buttons. They’re just solid buttons. Do you mean the mappings on the art MUST be “A=green” etc…

Markman, I’ve read these things have new PCB’s. Do they definitely resolve the issues that plagued the OG 360 TE sticks (specifically the chronic button-dying and ‘please reconnect’ messages that MANY users in this forum have had)?

The question has come up a whole bunch in this thread, but has never been answered definitively…

Hey markman, please do the weight and dimensions for the community. We need to know these things in terms of size, weight and the pcb. I wanna plan ahead so I know sizing for Plexiglas, pcb’s for modability among other things. For me, I really wanna know how much “slimmer” this S series is. Otherwise, I’ll just pick up the round 2. Please let us know.
