That’s disappointing actually…so the face area of the stick is literally the same and just the pop-off side panels changed? I guess I’ll be saving that $150 this time around , already got 3 rd 1/rd2 TE’s with full size plexi.
Good stuff to markman and madcatz for continuing to evolve their product for the end-user though.
That black on black is pure sex! Is there an official release dates for them?
I cant really see the black one clearly ive seen sides of it but i wish there was an up front picture of that stick because ive only seen the photoshoped picture of the stick and the other ones have some glare on the main part of the artwork and i cant make it out
I’ll wait to see better pictures of the “S” stick before I make a decision on a buy.
Right now, I really want a Round 2 stick for an all-Seimitsu mod before I even think of a new design base!
I can see the point of evolving designs but I don’t know if I really like the “S” to part with another $150.
I just might wait for either higher-quality photos or in-store display before a final decision.
There’s a good chance these sticks might show up in some stores.
I was surprised to see BOTH the Round 2 and M Vs C sticks at local GameStops this past December. The R2’s are long gone but plenty of GameStops locally still have the M Vs C sticks in stock for $139. Tempting, yes, but I’d rather get a more stock button placement stick than the custom button layout of the M Vs C. I just don’t like the way the R1 and L1 buttons are positioned on that thing…
Custom button layout was also a pet peeve of mine about the Arcana Heart 2 stick and I had to cross wires to fix that into a sensible HRAP 2 SA/3 layout!
Just saying. It’s not a 100% new stick, just like SSFIV isn’t a 100% new game. It is the ‘next step’… Just hang in there, you know there are some NEW NEW things creepin.
Spring 2010 to coincide with the release of the game.

just make sure to make it a bit wider than the sega. I was always surprised at how light control panels were. This is not an issue as it sits in a base. Just sayin’ thats all.
The Femme Fatale stick is one of those things that looks waayyyy better in person, pics don’t do it any justice at all. It has a metallic sheen to the artwork very nice imo. These new sticks are nifty as well
have the te twin stick come with the viewlex art as well

These may be just like SSF4 the game (slight change, not 100% new), but SSF4 won’t be full price as if it were a new game. Shouldn’t these be slightly cheaper than the original TE’s, since they’re not brand new?

None the less, as long as they weigh the same as the original TE’s then these look pretty solid.
edit: The button colors on the 360 kind of suck. I didn’t really want to mod it because they art work is great, but those 4 colors kill the whole thing. Why couldn’t we just get the all black/grey buttons

Question, does MadCatz have exclusive use of the license to make SSFIV sticks this time, or is it like the last time out where it’s only for the US and Hori was able to get the license to make sticks for the JP/Asian market?
