Iām looking for high level players to play with. I exclusively main Akuma. Iām located in NYC, so preferably youāre relatively nearby, and we can play without lag being a big factor. Iām willing to play with intermediate players if you are cool, want to get better/discuss the matches, and donāt mind me fucking around with 'gief if I get bored 
I have a special challenge to issue. I am so confident in my playing right now that for at least today and perhaps indefinitely, if we have a passable connection and you beat me in a first to ten set, I will put in my SRK sig for at least a few months that you beat me. It would be honorable if you did the same if I win, but I wonāt even require that. I want to be challenged, I want there to be something on the line, so bring it.
Iāll be on for the majority of the rest of the day and probably after midnight, so if you want to play ft10 (I would also do ft5 best 3/5) or if you just want to play, send me a message on PSN or on here.

Hahaha Iām amused that you are upping the ante - when I saw youād quoted me, I figured you were going to bash me for some reason.
Yeah, Iād be into that, given a little time (like, a couple of hours minimum - dunno if you mean today) to prepare myself mentally, etc. Is there like a top player you have in mind, or is it going to be someone random? Iāll fight multiple people, too, if people want to watch.
If you have someone in mind, I think itās only fair that I know what character he or she will choose because he or she knows I will be rocking Akuma.
Hereās the thing. We have a livestream that runs every night from 9pm EST to 2am EST (sometimes later til 4am) which consists of an endless room where people join up and pretty much play to their heartās content. There are certain points during the stream when someone feels like challenging another to see how well they fair and we end up setting up a closed lobby FT5 event (complete with live commentary). We have a good selection of players ranging from beginner level all the way up to advanced specialists as we call them. The best thing about these players is that theyāre mostly all East Coast players. We range all the way up from Canada reaching all the way down to Florida with a good selection from the Midwest area as well. The best thing about the stream is that everyone is all about levelling up and providing support for each other so you wonāt find a troll in the room at all (much).
With all that said, I can arrange anything for you in within this week or you can simply pass by the stream and if you see someone interesting, just pick him out. Simple enough.
PS, we also run single elimination/team tournaments as well. Just in case that might interest you in one way or another.
EDIT: Now if you really want to fight someone on a whole 'nother level altogether, I have someone that can probably give you a good challenge both mentally and reactionwise. =D
Ah man, that sounds great. Whatās the room for the stream? Is it the StreamingLiveJTV thing?
As for the āwhole 'nother levelā guy, Iām definitely curious. Iāve spent a fair amount of time playing at CF, so Iāve played against the best of the best. Always love a new challenge.
Awesome to see a decent matchmaking thread. Anyway StreamingLiveJTV is this other guys, he streams more than just Street Fighter though, youāll find UYG on PSN Endless as XUpYourGameX Iāve been to their stream everyone there is really friendly, their broadcasts are always smooth runningā¦on my PC at least, and the qualityās great. Iād say give them a shot.
On another note to all readers, Iām a fairly āweakā player looking to step my game up big time and get ready for AE whenever it hits. I do a lot of things that make me unable to get as much time as Iād like in esp offline play, but Iām on SSF4 anywhere between 3-6hrs on Weekdays at least. Feel free to shoot me a friend request, just let me know your from SRK so I know Iām not adding random Ken Mashersā¦
