Messed around with it again today, i found the secret is after the c.mp/c.lp after the first boom, to delay the next boom alot instead of doing it as soon as the c.lp/c.mp hits, for the second boom i can only do it the normal way, its very hard to sonic boom motion + back+ punch for that one, im going to keep trying because i want to do c.lp > boom, c.lp > boom, c.lp > flashkick.
I’m going over a couple of ideas in my head, now that we have our own forum. I’ll let you know.

It would take some work, but i was thinking about stripping this thread down, and moving all revelant parts to certian threads, ie. all discussion about Chun-li to a chun thread. This is task too big for anyone person, but if a few guys chipped in it wouldn’t be so bad. I wouldn’t mind doing 10 pages or whatever.
Wouldn’t it be more efficient to make this the “Street Fighter 2 Series” forum and create a sticky topic titled “Put the name of the game in your post title” so that we could get the HF/CE/HSF2 stuff here too?

Hey Alex, what did you think about your match against Nelson?
I was listening in the radio, and i just wanna ask, do you think you still would of won if didn’t swtich to CE Bison?
I might be a little biased (Nelson being a Reno player) but I don’t think he could have. Every time he picked CE Bison, Nelson picked CE Guile and beat him, then Alex picked ST Sim, beat CE Guile, then Nelson’s ST Bison beat him rather convincingly.
only reason nelsons st bison could beat alex is all the months ive been training him vs ce bison he forgot how to play vs st bison. Both are clearly fought differently as st bison isnt vulnerable to the drills but has weak ground game. Ce bison on the other hand has very good ground game but is weak as hell to those drillls. Alex was just brainwashed into fighting ce bison and was making mistakes in that match. Could he have won had he not used ce bison? its irrelevant considering nelson used ce chars as well to win against daigo and alex. Bring us back to pure st and im sure alex will do fine vs anyone.
Actually I do, I would have played Dhalsim 6 games in a row and figured him out. Props to Nelson though, for getting 2nd good shit. Just hope all will keep in mind, Nelson played CE bison against me first, CE Guile, CE Ryu, and CE Sagat. What Graham said is right on, if I didn’t spend all my time practicing against CE bison in this version, I would have beat his ST bison handily. However, this was an AE tournament and it was up to everyone to be prepared for it and try to win. I actually have less respect for the players who did not learn how to beat the CE characters. They did not take this version seriously and did not deserve to win. The lesson is if you enter an international tournamen for $5000, you better come prepared. This was an AE tournament, so you have to know how to play… well AE.

Nelson lived in Sunnyvale Norcal. I told him it was like the old days when we were on stage. Nice to see him do so well and make it an all American final.

He actually used CE Ryu. Can’t believe I lost that match vs. my Bison. I played like a scrub that game, won the first round easy and then played terrible the next two. I shoulda probably closed the door right there. I actually don’t think he has a character that can beat my CE bision. However, I do think that Hyper/Super Ryu, WW Guile, and ST Sim are incredibly good against M. Bision. WW Guile should beat bison pretty easily.
