I dunno why so many people are hating on Guy’s theme. It’s made of awesome.
so wtf stages have themes again whats the point of even putting in character themes if the only time we hear them is during rival fights…shit I dont give a fuck what the themes sound like now, since Im never gonna hear um. Street Fighter 2 got it right in my opinion, they should have done it like that from the very beggining.

You can turn on rival themes in options after you beat arcade mode apparently
Wow, you’ve been away for awhile. You can listen to Rival Themes now in VS and online if you turn it on in the options menu. You need to catch up.
NP PKSkyler, I love the themes very much and prefer them too but the stage themes are necessary because you can only listen to P2 side of the theme when you have Rival Theme’s turned on in local matches. Online, I believe you hear eachothers song individually so if you and me are playing Ryu and Ken I (Ryu) hear Kens theme while you (Ken) here Ryu’s theme. Also if a person has Rival themes turned off then they won’t hear your theme but the stages. It’s just an option some folks don’t want to hear the themes all the time. I may turn it off sometimes myself occasionally.
Personally I like Solar Eclips and Korea themes. Can’t wait for this game to come out, lucky guys with the pirate copy grrr.

On that note, I decided to comment about Juri’s theme. It’s very beautiful and extremely adrenaline pumping, but I don’t understand why the last part had to slow down into mush. It was like the composer was going “YEAH YEAH YEAH keep it going! YEAH! YEAH! yeah… now let’s try some of this…and…yeah… hmm…
ah I’m sure no one will notice. Loop it again! YEAH!”
Wtf cody’s theme is terrible, it’s easily the worst of the all the new themes posted atm.
What? It’s easily the best theme in the game but I guess haters gonna hate.
The broken lab stage still eludes us.

I find it difficult to believe there are people who even remotely liked Vanilla’s soundtrack.

well the post explaining how awesome and meaningful Cody’s theme really is, sent shivers down my spine (the music did too). The music really does boost a far greater sense of appreciation for Cody and Final Fight.
neither of y’all can make good arguments on it while that gentleman was very elaborate on the opposite. Trying to to put down his liking without reason fails.

Thanks much to everyone who responded to my post. See I asked a couple times in the past but never got a response. Sorry, ive been computerless for a while and have missed some updates.
Anyway, Id like us to hear the same song during battle, one of the character’s themes, the character whos theme played picked randomly. but this is good too, better than vanilla SFIV.
This is one of my new favorite fighting game OST’s. Everything sounds so good, my favorites are the character select, the construction and eclipse stage music, vega, balrog, dudley, juri and cody’s themes.
Guy’s SSF4 remix = the Intro theme to Final Fight: the Animated series. ( if there was one)
edit: yean I can see Guy’s SSF4 Remix playing to intro of a Final Fight animated show if there was one.
