I have to disagree, for something made by Capcom, yeah, it was probably the worst but it was still great. I have heard horrible fan remixes of Ken;s theme, and some fans apparently think it is cool to remix some of the character themes Insane Clown Posse style…

Am I the only one who can tell that the Vanilla producer, and Super producer for music seemed to be working independently on their own tracks in SSF4?
Listen to Blanka’s theme, then T.Hawks, then check out Deejay’s, then go to Guy’s or Vega’s.
I think I’ve noticed a pattern. I don’t know if they were working at the same time on separate tracks, or they had the original producer at one point of development then switched to a newer producer. But you can tell right off the very first note of many of these songs that it’s at another level of caliber.
Honda’s theme is all wrong. It doesn’t sound heavy enough. It’s not even all that Japanese sounding, more Chinese.

Listening to the Vega, T-Hawk ones it definately sounds as though the guy doing them really nailed the feel/vibe of the original versions (one clearly sounds Spanish and the other Mexican). I would put Dhalsim’s in this category too as it has the tubla (indian drums, spelt wrong) and Indian style singing (by woman).
You’ll hear Cody’s theme in this much more from the Aracde version.

You sure Cody’s is the intro from Final Fight? I hear a bit of it at the end but the rest of it just sounds like TURN THE BEAT BACK.
Am I the only one that hates Codys theme? I mean, I really understand the nostalgia factor about the Final Fight theme… but wouldnt anyone else prefered much more a remix from his “Stripes” theme of A3?

Precisely. Which is to say, the Vanilla guy isn’t BAD persay, I can just tell both those themes are most likely his. They’re still quite good. Whilst the others are clearly completely different.
Naw, only theme I liked in A3 was Karin’s. The rest were pretty messy tbh. No real melody. It was digital stomp.

Overhyped theme. |: I am digging Honda’s theme though, Gen’s not as good as I wish it was. Dans’ theme sounds very AOF2, and I am enjoying Blanka’s theme.

Aw… really? I think there are some good songs in A3 OST… Its certainly not the best musical work for a SF but I found Ryus, Codys, Sakuras, Birdies, Cammys and Karins to be decent enough.
